I love love love Nancy’s, I order via doordash / uber eats often! John Goodman, Fat Cat and the grits are soooo delicious. Love the cornbread waffles, and pancakes. My only issue is they always forget to add the cheese to my scrambled eggs, I get so sad EVERY TIME. They only got it right my very first time ordering. Will it stop me from ordering, nope cause everything else is incredible. Maybe next time.

My first time ordering from here was thru DoorDash and I got “The John Goodman”…….AMAZING!!!! Then I physically went to the restaurant this past Saturday 9/27 and ordered the Fish & Grits w/a side of pancakes……too literally die for!!!!! Excellent tasting food, great prices, and good vibes!!! I was truly impressed and wish I could give this place 10 stars instead of 5 lol.

My first visit was great! We went at peak breakfast time on Saturday and we were seated after about 5 minutes or so. The staff had their hands full but they still provided good service with a friendly vibe! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Great coffee, great breakfast potatoes, etc. The atmosphere was totally diner-y and they had fun music bumping. Recommend this place for a classic but good quality breakfast!

Cute little diner that prioritizes uber eats over the customers already seated. Everyone was very kind, but our food was cold even though we waited an hour. Had to go and get our own butter, syrup etc from a random host stand. Our toast was just cold oily bread. . . And then it was $50 with tip lmaooo

I’m so happy we checked out Nancy’s this past week. It was busy but we were able to get a table pretty quickly. The coffee was hot and fresh and the service was prompt and welcoming. The corned beef is made in house so we had to order the hash. We ate in silent bliss for about 15 minutes while we crushed our exquisite breakfast.
It’s a more intimately-sized dining room so I recommend going with a party no larger than 4. There are counter seats perfect for a solo visit as well. Get the quintessential diner experience and treat yourself to a visit to Nancy’s when you’re in town!

First time visit won’t be my last. Restaurant was very busy but we were seated fairly quickly. Very friendly service and a nice local atmosphere. A little rough around d the edges on first impression but the place is clean. Noisy but my frie d and I were able to enjoy a conversation without feeling like we had to shout. We did wait a bit for our food but it came out hot and fresh and our coffee cups were never empty.
The food. 12/10.
I had the country fried steak and eggs. Delicious perfectly cooked tender crispy and seasoned just right. Over medium eggs were on point, creamy buttery grits clean made by people who know how to make them. This is one of my favorite comfort meals and it was easily the best I have had in Pittsburgh.
My friend had the French toast and she said it was delicious. She rarely finishes a meal when we go out and she ate every bite. We were both very full when we finished and already talking about coming back.

Down to earth, straightforward and delicious food. We got the breakfast with juicy turkey bacon patties, eggs and toast, and some of the yummiest home fries I have ever had. Food arrived fast, place is busy but efficient, great spot!
