Today we tried breakfast. We tend to like little spots for breakfast over chain restaurants. Don’t let this little hidden gem fool you. The breakfast burrito is loaded and very good the chocolate chip pancakes tastes like your grandma made them. The sausage gravy and biscuits and homefries were all very good! We will most definitely be eating breakfast here again !

Four of us stopped for breakfast at this small, local restaurant. Very unassuming place with great food. The sausage and gravy was very good. My childhood favorite is fried mush, and I was happy to see it on the menu. It did not disappoint. Golden brown and delicious. The Breakfast burrito (pictured) is the popular item on the menu and it was outstanding. So happy to support small local businesses, you won’t be disappointed.

Stopped in while our dogs were at the vet, and had the best experience. The breakfast burrito was absolutely massive and such a great meal. I had more than enough to take home with me and eat for lunch. My wife got the half order of the biscuit bowl, and she was extremely impressed as well. Great service and value. We’ll be back.

As the owner wants to respond to my review in a nasty manner I will provide a new review. I have been to this establishment 6 times since they opened. I have attempted to give them an honest chance. I have tried a lot of things on the menu to include the “home cooked” items. I have never had a good experience here. The food is bland, not cooked properly, and subpar. I have been here with my wife several times and my children. We all feel the same way. The prices do not reflect the quality you receive. They expect you to tell them what you think while you are eating. You can tell what someone thinks when they respond/ how they respond. Some people don’t want to confront you while they are eating. Just because we sat at your makeshift bar(counter) which is in a near proximity of your grill, we shouldn’t have felt that the restaurant is muggy. I have sat in other spots, never there and it still feels the same. Crazy to think how the owner responds to an honest review, which I always provide. Do yourself a favor and pick another local place to go and don’t waste your time here.

Under new ownership with a nice refresh inside – this is a great place to get locally sourced cold-cuts, cheeses, and all kinds of goodies for your day on Buckeye Lake or for any occasion. I ordered a sandwich tray, potato salad, and pasta salad for an event I was hosting and it was a huge hit! In fact, I was bummed that there was no potato salad left over for me. I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out. Oh, and the value! Super reasonable prices for great food.
