This new casual restaurant came highly recommended for vegetarian/vegan Indian food. The vast menu was a little difficult to navigate for a newbie, so we just tried a few recommendations and they were all delicious and so authentic. The service was quick and the food was piping hot. I am definitely going back soon with my Indian friend to help me choose the best offerings! Parking is straightforward in the lot to the side of the restaurant.

First time here and food was so delicious and service was amazing. The staff are so friendly and gracious and provided some recommendations as the menu has many choices. All vegetarian which is a plus! The naan proportions are generous and we tried the thalli sampler with paneer and the eggplant pakora. Everything was delicious and next time we will get the spice level hot! Mango lassi was also good! Not overly sweet!

After looking for real food with actual spicing I’ve found it here at Namaste Garden in Essex. Great people, passionate about food and flavors, but also do not compromise on quality or portions. Enough for two considerably and three modestly on only one entree. Don’t pass this place up. HOMEMADE DESSERTS ARE A MUST. You’ll pay double for these labors of love anywhere else. One of my go too top 3 places in the valley, and with smiles who recognize me the place checks every box. Big fan

Came here from NY visiting for the week, looking for some fresh food to take me home for a few minutes. I ended up getting a very unexpected fresh, delicious, and affordable meal. Vermont needed a place like this! I think it’s the most authentic and true to Indian cuisine restaurant in the state. Plus, the owners are the most adorable family. So welcoming, kind and lively. 10/10 will come back!

SO GOOD! May be the very best Indian in Vermont. We ordered take out a few times (their online system remembers what you ordered last, which is super helpful!) and then tried it in person and it was wonderful. We just went back for a second time and they did not disappoint!

I visited this restaurant on my way back from Vermont. Had 5 stars but barely reviews under 100. I was a bit skeptical but wanted to give it a shot. Namaste Garden is incredible! I get their food at their stand at the Winooski Farmers Market every Sunday. They always have such delicious food – the manager and folks who work here are so special and caring. Their food is made with so much love! I highly recommend eating here!
