I went for happy hour and summer restaurant week. Three course summer deal had amazing food and the restaurant had attentive service. The chefs were professional and percise. The miso soup was delicious. The nagiri and sushi were on point. The mochi ice cream desert was flavorful.

Music was loud. That was my biggest complaint. Otherwise, excellent sushi. Probably best I’ve had in town. I say at the bar and they were out of one of my orders, but the sushi chef gave me recommendations, which I accepted, and ended up with a wonderful meal.

If you are a sushi lover and if you are in Washington DC, you should definately try this restaurant. Nama was high quality, quite clean and well designed restaurannt. And surprising part is, quite affordable. I think their sushi shef like to be experimental and it definately pays back when you taste them. The sushis we ordered were definately top noch, taste like heaven and the presentation was very cute. Their service people, Dariel and Maria were very kind, friendly and respectful people. They really made our night. When we finish our dinner, they served us an amazing delicious desert as a complimentary. We were 4 people and 1 child, even our child was so happy with the food. I highly recommend you to visit Nama. You will not be regret!!! 🙂

Out for a night with some friends and we just stumbled into this restaurant. The food was outstanding all around and the service was fast and professional. The ambience is nothing special but overall I was there for the food and it did not disappoint.

Terrible service when paying for the bill. The server told us they would split the ticket by person and that was not true. Then they lied again and said we could pay by item on ticket which was not true. Don’t go with large groups.
