The restaurant is extremely noisy. Difficult to enjoy any conversation with a hibachi meal or any meal with the level of noise. They definitely need to do something to absorb some soun. The food was excellent, but I felt we were very rushed to get done with our hibachi meal. The appetizer came more than halfway through the meal and the bill was brought as soon as the chef was done and we had just started to enjoy our meal. They were anxious to take dishes away. It seemed like they really wanted you in and out of there in an hour, which is pretty tight for a hibachi meal. We were there on a Friday evening, which I’m imagine as one of their busiest times. It might not be so rushed and noisy on other evenings or earlier in the day. The food was excellent and the chef prepared it perfectly.

My family had dinner at Nagoya after my son said he wanted some hibachi. We arrived and there was no wait and we were seated promptly. The server was attentive and took our order. We ordered a wonton appetizer which was good. I had the chicken hibachi and my husband the steak and chicken. The portion sizes are plentiful that we always have leftovers for lunch the next day. You get soup broth, salad, both lomaine noodles and fried rice, vegetables, and your meat choice. The restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. The hibachi chefs are very entertaining and we always enjoy dinner here!

Great Sushi, Just Bring a Sweater!
My son and I had lunch at Nagoya Steakhouse and Sushi and really enjoyed our meal. We each ordered three sushi rolls, along with soup and salad, and split all six rolls to try a little bit of everything. The sushi was fresh and flavorful (so good I forgot to get a picture until after we were done), and the service was friendly and attentive throughout.
The only downside—and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5—was the temperature inside. It was uncomfortably cold, which made it hard to fully relax and enjoy the experience. Still, the quality of the food and service made it worth the visit. Just be sure to bring a jacket if you’re dining in!

First off, the grilled vegetable roll is very very good, I’ve never had anything like it. Highly recommended! Carrots, onions, bell pepper, zucchini with eel sauce on top.
The salad was extremely soupy and tasteless.
We had teriyaki shrimp and Hibachi salmon, both had unpleasant fishy taste which means not fresh.
Noodles were a surprise hit, far superior to Kiku, Osaka, Sado Mori, or any Japanese place we’ve been in Tallahassee.
There were plenty of booths to choose from but they decided that a pair of old folks would like to sit in close proximity to a table full of silly teenage girls. They were wrong. Us old seniors don’t appreciate the pop music either. Nice quiet Japanese sounds would seem to be more appropriate.

Just OK. We are visiting the area and I was completely disappointed because I chose this place for our anniversary dinner. They were completely packed and the server was waiting on multiple tables and wasn’t readily available when something was needed. The cook burned the eggs and still put the eggs in the rice. We mentioned the burned eggs and he acted like he didn’t hear us. He also burned the vegetables before he realized he needed to turn the heat down. While the portion sizes are large, nothing tastes seasoned. You have to ask multiple times for drink refills or sauces. Such a disappointment. Our anniversary dinner was not good.

Pretty place nicely decorated. We decided to come here for lunch instead of our usual place for sushi. We ordered the steak teriyaki and it was good. Slightly less sweet than usual with a generous portion of fried rice and vegetables and a little bit of California roll on the side. The steak was cooked medium rare and was tender. I got the seafood tonnkatsu, which had shrimp and scallops. The seafood was good, properly cooked, and did not taste fishy. It was also grilled and had a very nice flavor that was similar to the steak. The prices were very reasonable, and the food was very accessible to a broad spectrum of palates. There are a lot of good choices for lunch on the menu, and we would recommend that you check it out. Perhaps another time will come for hibachi.

I’m extremely disappointed with how my partner and I were treated during our visit. We chose to dine in and received food that was not prepared correctly. We politely asked for it to be remade, and the staff refused.
We decided to leave and did not touch or take the remaining food. As we were leaving, multiple staff members followed us outside, verbally harassed us, and threatened to call the police. We were called derogatory names, and a male staff member attempted to escalate the situation physically.
This behavior was completely unprofessional, aggressive, and unacceptable. No customer should feel unsafe or be harassed for calmly leaving after a service issue. I would strongly caution others before dining here.

Ordered the steak hibachi, with a side of California rolls for pickup. Order was ready within 30 minutes. It came with soup, salad and 2 cups of yum yum sauce. When all was said it done, it was 40$ which is a little high. With that being said the amount of food was impressive. Everything was cooked correct and tasted good. The California rolls were fresh and they didn’t make it to the house lol. The restaurant had a good atmosphere, there was a good bit of people, but still there was some seating available. There was a mix of families and college kids. Will do again!
