OMG!! What an experience. The fish was so fresh, so special. The service: out of this world. Josh was so friendly and also recommended the best sushi for us.

Great sushi! Loved our rolls. Our server, Todd, was super friendly. Make sure to make a reservation. We were able to get in the next evening.

The food here is great. The quality and freshness of the seafood is the best in Whistler. Everything is delicious. Our current favourites are the rainbow roll and the sashimi.
The team are always so helpful and kind.
Great little spot out. Thanks again!

Food was okay. We ordered the sashimi platter of the day. It wasn’t worth the $50. We had the shrimp tempura. It was fried well and crunchy. The karage was disappointing as the batter was soft. We also ordered tuna roll, eel and avocado, red dragon roll, spider roll. It was decent. Service was good.

I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been here a few times already. Any town I move to or live in I make it a goal to try every sushi spot!

We went for the Prix Fixe menu as this is the best time to try restaurants in Whistler.

Few notes, it’s a good deal! You don’t feel like you’re being ripped off for the price of $39.

You get 4 course and there’s a lot to choose from but here’s what I picked.

Blue Fin Tuna Tartar (8.6/10) they give you a hearty portion of tuna much more than I was expecting! Flavour profile was pretty good overall but a little heavy on the onion.
Biggest issue is they give you 3 wonton chips which wasn’t enough for the ratio of tartar.

Deepfried Softshell crab: (9.5/10) by far the best softshell crab in Whistler! Yes I know it scares some people but it’s one of my favourite dishes to ever exist. If you haven’t tried it before I highly recommend if you can get over the look!

For the main course you get a choice of 2 sushi rolls or 5 Nigiri (personally I find you’ll get better value going for the rolls)
I went with the Beautiful Roll, and the Spider roll.

Not shocking I went with the roll with more softshell crab it’s my favourite, sadly this roll lacked actual ingredients inside of it.
The beautiful roll on the other hand was fantastic, great texture, great flavour, would recommend!

Dessert is a choice of ice cream mochi ball. They’re pretty tiny but luckily I’m not much of a dessert guy. It’s a nice touch at the end of the meal though.

I’ll be back again!

The people who were able to eat said the food was excellent. Service was also outstanding. Unfortunately the first glasses of water they served us tasted funny. Two of us were very thirsty from hiking and drank our glasses. The rest were smarter … a few hours later we felt better so we weren’table to eat the food. I think the pitcher and / glasses weren’t rinsed after washing. Lesson learned.

It was my second time eating here. The first was nearly 10 years ago. It was nice to return to Whistler and enjoy a scrumptious dinner. Very attentive and friendly waitress. Prompt service even though it was very busy evening. As always, they offer a delicious menu with lovely variety of warm and cold selections. Most certainly will be back… hopefully sooner than in 10 years!

A local told us about this place. We called multiple times on a Saturday afternoon to book a table but the phone line was always busy. We showed up anyway and saw that the next group of 4 won’t get a table until 2 hours later. We told them we could sit at the bar and got 3 seats after 15 minutes.

As expected, the food was really fresh. We ordered the usuals (every time we go to a sushi place) — spicy tuna rolls and ikura nigiri. I loved the ikura. The spicy tuna, not so much. First of all, the rolls are so big (too much rice). Second, somehow the tuna looks so pale that becomes unappealing. Third, not spicy at all.

We ordered other dishes too. The bluefin tuna otoro was pricey ($50) but excellent, so fresh, tasty and melts in your mouth. Others are standard.
