The most exceptional spot in Sioux Falls unlike anything I’ve seen in the area. From the complex ingredients used in cocktails to the perfectly prepared entrees, deserts and dreamy atmosphere, you’re guaranteed to not only enjoy the food and service, but to also be immersed in the history of the building and the family owned business.

Excellent cocktails with a charming ambiance. Food from Parker’s is served there so it is easy to grab a drink and some food without a reservation at Parker’s.

I dropped into Myrtle’s Fur Vault & Bar without a reservation and ended up having one of the best meals I’ve had downtown. This is hands-down my favorite cocktail bar in downtown Sioux Falls—from the drinks to the ambiance, everything hits the mark.
I ordered the Zarzamora—a beautifully layered cocktail featuring Lustau Amontillado “Los Arcos” sherry, Glacial Lakes blackberry brandy (crafted just down the street on Main Ave), orange bitters, mint, and sugar. It was bold, aromatic, and perfectly balanced—made even better knowing it features a local distillery.
For dinner, I had the DTSF Restaurant Week special: Veal Saltimbocca, prepared by the chefs at Parker’s Bistro next door—another favorite of mine. The dish was phenomenal: tender veal over house-made linguine with preserved lemon cream sauce, basil, prosciutto, spring vegetables, and parmesan. Elegant, comforting, and layered with flavor.
I sat at the bar, but there was a private event happening in the back—and the space is gorgeous. Think vintage glam meets speakeasy chic. Whether you’re stopping in for dinner, cocktails, or hosting an event, Myrtle’s is an unforgettable experience in downtown Sioux Falls.

Pretty neat little place in connection with Parker’s Bistro. We stopped in for a few drinks and an app before exploring more of downtown. The old fashion was great, wife got the espresso martini, which was also very good. We also got the Brie En Croûte appetizer, was pretty good. Felt like it sat for awhile in the kitchen before being brought out, as it wasn’t as warm as we were thinking, nor as gooey, but was still good none the less. A great place to check out if you’re in the area.

We have been to Parkers many times over the years but wanted to come into Myrtle’s to see what the new side looked like. We had oysters, crab egg rolls, duck and the scallops and everything was fantastic. Our service was also perfect. Highly recommend.

The vibe is nice. We met up with some friends for drinks and desserts, but it feels like you could also get dressed up and do a fancy date night if you wanted to. Our server, Sean, was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The couple of desserts we tried (the cheesecake and the “Midnight Kiss”) were absolutely delicious! The drink selection was fun as well, and I can’t wait for our next visit so I can try something new.

This is my new favorite spot in Sioux Falls. My husband and I had been wanting to come here for ages, but we have kids – the age old problem. We finally got a chance to get out, and it didn’t disappoint. We had two drinks each, and they were stunning. The first one we each ordered off the menu, and they were each unusual but delightful. For our second drinks, we each asked for something to be made for us (our server offered; I promise we weren’t being high maintenance). James asked for an egg white drink, and I asked for something like an aviation. The drinks were incredible. We could have stayed there all night. I wish I’d have asked for our server’s name, but she was awesome. We will totally be back, and we’ll try the food next time.

I can’t say enough great things about Myrtle’s Fur Vault & Bar! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was welcoming, vibrant, and so refreshingly inclusive. A huge shoutout to our incredible waitstaff, E., for going above and beyond. Even though the space was already closed off for the night, E. graciously let us settle in and made us feel totally welcome and looked after.
And the drinks? Next-level. They absolutely crushed it behind the bar, and I still can’t stop raving about the Paloma—truly the best I’ve ever had. Seriously, I need to know the secret—those flavors hit just right.
Myrtle’s is one of those rare spots that makes you feel like you belong the moment you walk in. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests make every visit memorable.

Had originally planned on going on a date on the Parker’s side (as I feel it’s the best intimate setting in town, not to mention virtually unrivaled food and it’s not even close for me), but we showed up and I did not specify in my reservation that I wanted to eat at Parker’s. But I figured if the ownership is the same (the family has showcased a model for consistency and experimental moxy now for over ten years in a very tough industry), what the hell let’s give it a go. Wasn’t as dark or as intimate as what I had pictured but that’s my fault. Myrtle’s won us over immediately with unreal cocktails, seafood that tasted ocean fresh, probably caught a day or two at most prior to plating, and a perfect server; able to gracefully answer every question, totally invisible yet fully attentive at once (when you’re on a date, a professional server can make or break the whole thing, in my opinion at least). Prices are high, yes, but I’ve never left this building regretting a thing. If you’re not mindful, you’re going to spend quite a bit. But isn’t that why we go out and pay to eat in the first place? It’s all about the experience. And nobody does it like Parkers in this city and possibly the state. Forever customer.
