What started as a small independent restaurant has transformed into a popular family business. Nico’s was founded by Nicolas Moran Carreon in San Diego, and in 1993, his brother Prieto opened the first Nico’s in Arizona. Today, 24 locations can be found scattered across San Diego, Arizona, and the Netherlands. This location in the Cortaro x Silverbell area opened its doors in February 2025. The owners also have two more locations in Casa Grande. You can find all your favorites on the menu, plus some fresh homemade juices!

Reviews
Nico’s has become incredibly expensive. A carne asada burrito with beans added is now $16.50. A plain carne asada burrito is $13 before tax. They also charge a fee if you use a credit card. $16.50 for a single burrito is unbelievably high for a fast food chain. You can go to Guadalajara right down the road and get food for the same price along with chips and salsa and being served by a waiter. I won’t be going back to Nico’s anymore, unfortunately. It’s sad because I’ve been going there since I was a kid. Hopefully they lower their prices to be remotely reasonable again but I doubt it. Greed is becoming more and more common.
