Musume offers contemporary Asian cuisine and fabulous sushi in the heart of downtown Dallas within the Hall Arts district. Musume, which translates to Daughter in Japanese is from Rock Libations restaurant group. Musume serves lunch Monday through Friday and dinner every night of the week. Musume features the country’s largest premium sake program with over 120 selections. The restaurant also possesses the largest Japanese Whisky collection in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Operations are overseen by Josh Babb, Khalil Lalani, and Elliott Marshall.

My wife and I have been here twice and it gets better each time. The food is amazing, sake menu is top notch, and the entire staff is friendly and helpful. Khalil, the owner, came to our table and talked with us about the sake we chose and helped us pair it with our entire menu. We love coming down here and highly recommend it to all our friends.

What a gem! I liked this place so much I went there for two out four meals my last trip to Dallas. The service was impeccable; when was the last time your waiter actually knew about the food? They do here! The drinks were spendy but delicious so I didn’t care. Highly recommend the seabass and shishito peppers. Definitely the best restaurant in Downtown Dallas.

Beautiful atmosphere and amazing food with great service. 5 stars all the way! Our waitress was so friendly and well informed. Gave us the best recommendations on what to order that were spot on. Sushi was incredibly fresh. My first time trying raw scallops and loved it! Pretty much loved everything we tried. We celebrated my friend’s birthday so they gave us the best tempura ice cream I’ve ever tried. Would highly recommed and looking forward to visiting again.

The service was very slow. It took a really long time to get the fried rice. The beef was hard and chewy. Not really a good dish. As for the rolls if you buy the cheap ones at around 8 dollars it is actually worse than grocery sushi. I spent more than a hundred so I was expecting something good but I was really disappointed.

Food was good, but I think I expected more pizzaz for a $300 tab. Alice Dallas may have been better and less expensive. Waiter was very pleasant even though he delivered the steak without any utensils.

Vegan options, but nothing tasty or noteworthy. The Thai Coconut Curry Soup wasn’t good at all. Shiitake Gyoza and Karai Itame Spicy Stir Fry were just average and uneventful. The food is overpriced for what they actually offer in my opinion.
