Too many power drinkers. Too much riffraff from Bloomsdale, they’re a little overpriced for what they serve. It’s just a non-desirable crowd. And a large crowd at that. A crowd their staff typically cannot serve all that well. Too many problematic customers together at once. The staff thought can be shady. They often times refuse to return change and call it a “tip out” which is theft. It’s just a slimy place where if you’re not in the loop, you’re going to be in for a lousy experience.

Murphy’s beef n ale is like cheers. Its a place to go where everyone knows your name. If you want a place to go with good friends that are considered family then this is your spot. From pool tables, to darts, and even shuffle board. They have djs playing every weekend. If you follow them on Facebook you will see the many different events that they have every year. The staff is friendly and treat everyone with the same respect. So stop on in and have a drink, take ur coat off and stay awhile, because once you get comfortable, your not going to want to leave.

Food was amazing and the service was great, but I highly disagree with the owner taking money from his staff/customers. If you want to leave a tip, I recommend using cash or not going at all. I left a $20 tip on the CC slip and they tried punching in a $50 tip. I’m lucky my credit card company caught it and it’s being disputed.

Servers are cool, food is good but too many “power drinkers” & over served customers for my liking. If you go early and get out before everyone is loaded, it’s cool, but after midnight or so….. Don’t be on the roads around there. Playing with fire.
