Just came for some cookies. My friend’s favorites are the baccio’s. The cookie part is like an amaretto cookie with the canoli cream and chocolate. I personally do not like canoli cream, so I didn’t like the baccios. I did like the peanut butter n jelly cookies, though.

My Mom was visiting from Florida and I wanted to bring her somewhere for a good sandwich. Good doesn’t do it justice, the sandwich was amazing. Staff was extremely friendly, and this place is so much more than just sandwiches. We also got a pasta salad that was delicious, and I will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes I saw while I was there. Everything looked great! Very reasonably priced as well.

Basically, we pick up some prepared foods returning from Manasquan. The food is very good. However, the prices are high and got higher recently. We bought 2 pieces of chicken, one grilled and one breaded and 2 stuffed potatoes at a price of $19.00. Wow!!! Potatoes $6.50 and chicken around $13. And, Joe Leone’s is even more expensive. Once in awhile though it beats cooking.

Eggplant bread! I’ve been getting it for years and it was stuffed with delicious eggplant and a perfect deli bread. I don’t know what’s happened, but I’ve picked the bread up three times this year from Gerry’s market in Ortley Beach. When I tell you I dream of this spread all winter long, I’ve been disappointed the last three times they have cut back immensely on the eggplant. Please bring back the original recipe! I tell everyone about it and now Don’t don’t know if I can. Make eggplant bread great again!

I go there consistently! Very friendly staff & owners. They’re helpful. Food is always delicious. They have many prepared sauces. The vodka sauce is to die for so are the semolina breads. They also have a large assortment of cookies & baked pastries. On days you have no idea what to cook or don’t really want to fuss over cooking a good scrumptious meal; Go there, it’s a quick, delicious, and simpler way to do dinner. The sauces are like a restaurant style experience taste without the more costly price tag. It’s a nice relaxing evening when I get home after a long day at work. No trouble geting my penne pasta ready to serve with Vodka sauce and grilled chicken from them as well.It’s a one stop Italian place to get all one needs for cooking an Italian meal or picking up pre made food. The meatballs & grilled chicken are cooked to.perfection & delicious, often buy them as an accompaniment to the food I will prepare when I get home. They’re food never disappoints. For a true Italian specialty store locally it’s the place to go to. I have become acquainted with the staff and owner Michael since I am always there they all are super nice & friendly. The place is impeccably clean & well organized. Everything is easy to find.
