My neighbors raved about this place so my wife and I decided to try it out. We really wanted to like Table au Pain but were really disappointed.
My wife loves brie and chose the ham and brie sandwich. On the menu it sounded great. In reality “not good at all”.
I would think a ham and Brie sandwich would actually contain Brie….WRONG!
I have attached an untouched photo and challenge anyone to find the Brie. There are two small white smears that I assume is Brie. My wife ended up putting ghost pepper/habanero cheese on it because she said the sandwich was totally tasteless.
I had the Sweet little chicken sandwich, which is very aptly named.
It is very little, very sweet and contains a small dry chicken breast all for $16.00. The “spicy” sandwich has absolutely no spice and the spicy pickles are actually sweet pickles.
To be totally fair, the french fries are some of the best ever. They were crispy and perfectly seasoned.
If you want a great chicken sandwich, read my review of JJ’s Ranch Chicken Club.

Wonderful restaurant offering delicious food for every hour of the day. The coffee was top notch, and we had a breakfast / dinner menu in which we ordered options from both.

Taste, presentation, service, and vibes were immaculate. My group ended up hanging in the restaurant for another hour catching up, and the service did not mind at all.

Will 100% be coming back!

Absolutely charming little restaurant! French themed with a a casual bistro vibe, and the waitstaff is super friendly! I have been there twice so far and have liked everything, the Papillon -one of the coffee specials- has become a new favorite, with rose, honey, and lavender flavors.

We tried Bella’s Table (a few doors down, same owners) last night for dinner and loved it, so we decided we must come back this morning to the Table au Pain bakery and cafe for brunch. It was excellent! I had the farmers omelette, a la Carte side of French toast and a vanilla iced breve, my husband had the bacon and egg sandwich on a croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. My omelette was good, very fresh tasting and great ingredients, but nothing special. Just a solid omelette. My French toast was the best I’ve ever had! Thick and great flavor, perfect texture. The espresso was very good, I’m a bit of an espresso snob and I’d come back for their coffee so I was happy about that. My husband LOVED his sandwich, saying it was fresh and flavorful, the croissant was outstanding. And we both really enjoyed the cookie— it was pretty much a perfect chocolate chip cookie. Texture and flavor were exceptional. Our sever was very friendly, did a fine job. Bakery smelled amazing and I wanted to try a bite of everything. Only critique is service is a touch slow. We weren’t greeted for a while after we walked in, we didn’t know to seat ourselves, then took a while to get drinks. However, we weren’t in a rush so it was a very enjoyable morning. We look forward to going back for breakfast/brunch and want to try their other offerings soon.

Checked out the new Table Au Pain in Bella Vista this past weekend—and honestly, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.

When we arrived, there was no greeting or guidance, so we just found a table and seated ourselves. We grabbed our own menus and browsed through the limited Sunday brunch options. It took about 8 minutes before someone finally brought us water and mentioned a server would be with us shortly.

Once our server arrived, there were no suggestions or welcome—just straight to taking our order. I went with the pot roast and a fried egg, while the rest of the family ordered the omelette of the day. Prices were on the higher side for what felt like a pretty basic brunch, but we were curious to try since it’s part of the same group that runs the other Table Restaurants around NWA.

The food came out quickly (under 10 minutes) and looked decent at first glance—but looks can be deceiving. My pot roast was just okay, and the “medium” fried egg came out well done and overcooked. The omelettes were decent, but again, the portion sizes didn’t quite match the price tag.

The place was definitely busy, with people coming and going the entire time. But it felt a bit chaotic—no real flow or management of the crowd. It even took about 10 minutes after we finished to get the bill so we could clear the table for the next group.

All in all, it wasn’t a terrible experience, just not a standout. I might give it another shot down the line to see if things improve.

Rob Score: 6.5/10

Crab and shrimp crepes were phenomenal. We got a creme brulee donut and chocolate crescent to go that was also delicious. Will definitely be back.

Great food. Great price. Probably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The ham was not processed. The eggs were great. There was arugula and some kind of sweet chutney and came with a small side salad. Also great baked goods. I was very impressed.

We found this gem while we were visiting Bella Vista. Great food, coffee, and an amazing variety of fresh baked breads, parties, and desserts. I loved the blackberry avocado salade. The staff was super friendly and helpful with all of our questions. There are a fair amount of tables/counter seats inside and a few outside for dining in, but a lot of customers stopped in to purchase drinks/pastries at the counter to go. They also have an open kitchen. I love that. You can see/smell the food being prepared….free entertainment while you wait. I would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again.

My husband brought me home a slice of bacon and sausage quiche, so I can’t comment on the atmosphere or service. I will say the portion was quite big, which was nice- at $16 it should be. I have no idea why a side of plain arugula is included, maybe it’s a salad in Arkansas? Anyway, the quiche was generously made with copious meat- who-hoo! It also had tasty carmelized onions. I will say, it seemed like it may have had condensed soup in it. I may be wrong and I apologize if I am, but the consistency was not like any quiche I’ve had before and the egg was lost. I also don’t think it was made with brise dough, it was more along the line of crescent roll dough. Everyone has a right to make their version of a classic I suppose. I’d definitely go back and try some other offerings, I know they’re making many baked items in house and there is a great want and need for that.
