I love the presentation of the ramen! The corn fritter, a piece of lotus root and even some flavor foam on the top, give the ramen a great enhancement. Signature miso ramen and shoyu ramen were good. Red spicy shio and black shio were very good. And the yuzu cold noodle was the best! It was not on the menu. I think it was seasonal special. When we ordered it, the waiter said it’s last bowl. The yuzu flavor was so refreshing. Nothing better than a cold noodle in the hot summer day! Oh I love they put both roast pork (thin cut) and pork belly (thick) on the ramen. Roast pork was so tender even it’s not fatty

I’ve ordered takeout from Muku several times and always enjoyed it, but this was the first time I actually went in person. The shishito peppers were delicious and covered in something a bit spicy which I enjoyed, but keep that in mind because it could be surprising. I had the signature miso and that was tasty and just the right spice level considering I’m not great with spicy food. The staff said they could adjust the spice level for most dishes so keep that in mind when you see an item you like and it’s marked as hot.

I have been here a couple of times already and this definitely is one of my favorite ramen shops in the city. The flavors have a good mix between traditional and unique taste. The Red Devil is definitely a thrill for spice lovers, while the Black Shoyu is subtly infused with a smokey flavor. Their appetizers are also delicious, especially the chicken karagee.

Average ramen but awesome side dishes. Recently ordered the spicy miso ramen, Pork chasu don, fried oysters, and a pork bun for takeout. Compared to the ramen I’ve tried in Osaka, the Tonkotsu broth definitely lacked depth of flavor, and ramen noodles were quite thick and it almost felt like thin udon noodles. Pork bun was also disappointing – with only one piece of lettuce and teriyaki glaze to embellish the meat, the whole thing looked rather miserable. On the other hand, the chasu don and the fried oysters were great. Oysters were huge and juicy and the don had nice chunks of pork belly.

Nice place to eat for a quick bite. Karaage (fried chicken 5 pieces), Pork Chashu Don, and Shoyu ramen. The food was okay…actually I had a craving for ramen these days, and I had my fill with today’s order. It felt like drinking an entire bowl of grease.

came here for lunch on a workday after being intrigued by their menu. I really enjoyed the food! I got the black miso ramen and pork gyoza. The pork gyoza was good, it came out on a sizzling platter and they poured some tonkotsu stock on top. I liked this presentation and the gyoza soaked up the tonkotsu flavour. I did like the tonkotsu and gyoza flavour together (confused about another reviewer who said they couldn’t taste it?), though the crispiness of the gyoza is lost in the process. However, i think this is the best way to execute this idea – if the gyoza were prepared by any other softer method, the skin would just be too soggy. Another note is that the gyoza are served with a really nice vinegary soy sauce, but it was hard to taste it in combination with the tonkotsu flavour. possibly having the dipping sauce be more viscous, like a glaze, would help distinguish the flavours better.

Super unique ramen flavors that are truly special (matcha and black shio are my faves!). Super friendly staff, combo ramen options during the workweek, and a handful of tasty appetizers.
