Family and cosy vibes, local and tourists are here for food and nearly all full.
Service was good, waiter did come to chit chat even during busy hours, efficient and fast delivery of food.
Ordered for escargots, pork prank, Choucroute Alsacienne, crème breme, pinot noir.. target to try the Alsace traditional food.
-Pork prank – very soft and tasty.
-Escargot – love that its hot with ‘bubbles on’ even after awhile left on table as a starter.
-Choucroute Alsacienne – I’m not a fans of the sauerkraut, the meats were well matched with it.
-Crème Breme – This is served with pistachio flakes and surprisingly matches with the crème breme! This is rightly soft, just needs to be warm.
Recommend to have indication of the WC for the gents and ladies, to avoid long queue
Overall, thanks for the nice Xmas lunch here!
Tart did not come out hot and was fine but not good. Maybe if it was hot. Server never came anywhere near me or ask when I did not eat it. The meat was fine. Again not terribly hot and did not have a lot of flavor. Maybe if there was mustard or a server to ask for some.
Muensterstuewel offers a cozy and traditional Alsatian dining experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with charming wood-paneled interiors that reflect the region’s heritage. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The food is good, featuring classic Alsatian dishes like tartes flambées and choucroute. While the flavors are authentic, some dishes could benefit from a bit more seasoning. Overall, it’s a nice spot to enjoy local cuisine in a comfortable setting.
Attentive and friendly service.
Merci!
