We 100% recommend stopping here to eat. Best burgers! The burgers were so good, the fries were amazing and my picky kids were very happy with the grilled cheese and chicken strips. Husband LOVED the rattlesnake eggs. Everything was excellent. The staff was welcoming and you felt like this was exactly where you were meant to eat today.
There is a fun little free arcade also that added a fun aspect to our lunch. Very family friendly.
This is really a must stop place if you are anywhere near Bonham. We might just drive back up from Dallas! It’s so good .

TL;DR: Muddbones is the best burger I’ve ever had. I drive 2+ hours just to get a burger.
From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re at an old friends place; the staff are the definition of Southern hospitality and Big Friendly will be your instant friend as he takes your order. Everything is amazing.
And then you get your food. I’ll admit that I haven’t tried any of their chicken sandwiches, because I can’t bring myself not to order a burger. The burgers are perfectly seasoned, smashed, and cooked. You can taste the freshness of the beef, the veggies, and the bread. You’re not going to find this quality of a burger anywhere else!
The sides are always delicious, too. The fries are my favorite, but you can’t go wrong with any of the choices. If you’re there on a Friday or Saturday make sure you get the Rattlesnake Egg, it’s a special treat.

In town on business and wanted to try a local restaurant. Found this gem! I really wanted to try a burger but ended up getting the TX Cheesesteak with fries. The food was amazing, the owner is a character (in the best way possible), loved the look of it. LOVED that there is a small arcade with free games. I have nothing negative to say about this place. If you’re in Bonham, do yourself a favor and stop here.

Good burgers with all of the local vibes. We got there early so there wasn’t a wait. One of the owners made the rounds and talked to everybody in the place. The burger was piled with all the toppings. The fries had s good seasoning but could have been crisper.

We are not locals, but we travel multiple states to have this burger whenever it’s even remotely considered a passing point.
They have vegetarian options if needed. My wife is allergic to meat & cross contamination usually ruins her, but we can eat here with no problems.
There’s a reason why they have a 5 star rating, top quality fresh ingredients, amazing service, and that small town feel where they remember their patrons.
