It was my second time eating at this establishment. I came in right as the doors opened (as I know this place can be super busy)around lunch time. I was greeted warmly by James with a seasons greetings. Honestly, he made the experience for me. He upsold me on some bacon even! They honor military discount which was another bonus. The Manager and team treated me as family! To me, this is testament to the hard work and service standards they provide. Everything was clean and the individuals are extremely friendly. Shout out to the whole Staff at Kincaid’s Hamburgers off Overton in S. Fort Worth. James thank you for your attention to detail on my order, and most importantly your overall warmth. I can tell management is phenomenal because everyone is smiling and having fun. Fully Recommend!! The food was great, but the atmosphere the staff provided was exceptional.

A Fort Worth classic and total gem, we love Kincaid’s for the food and atmosphere. Highly recommend! My husband loves the chili cheeseburger and it is just a really cheery place to be. Their onion rings are a MUST and they have the best fries!

I should have taken a picture, I got the bacon cheeseburger meal and made it a double. Went with my mom. They have an assortment of food and it’s a home style restaurant, they have long tables and benches to sit, reminded me of a barbecue restaurant. No barbecue, just chicken sandwiches and burgers mostly but they have other different items like corn dogs and whatnot. Back to the bacon double. It was awesome. 9/10 overall. 2 1/2 pound patties. Or you can get junior 1/4 patties. I wanted to test them and see what they got so I got the double 1/2 and let me tell you. It’s a lot. Even if you come hungry. The 1/2 is enough, I barely finished the double. But it’s full of flavor that’s unique to Kincaid’s with a price that’s easy on the wallet. Fresh Angus meat grilled to perfection with bacon, delicious. The bacon is hard for some people to get right, it has to be crispy with some give, slighty chewy, not burned. Kincaid’s got it right. They make it with the works unless you customize it. No onions on mine. Only one con: There’s a lot of juicy/some grease so as you’re eating the burger buns will get soggy and the burger will start to fall apart. That’s why I didn’t get the chili burger because I didn’t want to make a mess. But I noticed the bread got soggy and once that happens you’re gonna have a hard time bud. One or napkins ain’t gonna cut it. The fries were okay nothing special but tasted good. Also, the staff was friendly , establishment was clean, and atmosphere good. Like I said, 9/10 I would go again and would recommend. Drink is not included with meal FYI.

The burger patty while had no seasoning and was bland yet I was full when I left so bonus. Not the best I’ve had but decent. Fries were pretty good tho. And the gentleman that took my order was extremely nice. Great music if you like country! A small dance floor would be awesome!
Price was kinda high for 1 person yet I did get an extra patty so..

Upon entering, I loved it! Very old-fashioned and reminded me of going to the burger places where my parents grew up. Everything after that was just okay. The cashier was somewhat rude and impatient/short with everyone she encountered. Guess it wasn’t her day. I ordered the Cattleman burger and to say it looked nothing like the pic is an understatement. That pic is all juicy, bbq flowing down the sides, melted cheese, thick onion ring, I got none of that. Mine looked like a cracked out, dry McDonald’s burger. But the price isn’t bad so I guess that made up for it? The place was clean, so I did appreciate that. And I loved the decor. It’s at least worth a visit.

The burger wasn’t made to order and was old and cold. I asked her for lettuce, tomatoes and pickles, but had to cut my own tomatoes and add it to the burger. I asked for jalapenos on the side, but they were added to the burger. The fries were also cold and the onion rings were hard. I’m so disappointed.

This is…Hands Down, The best hamburger on this planet. Regular cheeseburger, 8 bucks… the meat patty way at least 3/4″ thick…the onion rings are excellent too! If you don’t go and experience this for yourself, well… that’s on you.

Fort Worth only chain family owned and the original location is still open on Camp Bowie. This satellite location is the next best thing to the original and the food is just as great. I had the 1/2 lb cheeseburger w/ onion ring rings. The counter staff was friendly and the wait was as expected for a “we don’t make it until you order it” restaurant. If you like All American fare you will find something great here.
