When we got home, there were many mistakes with the order. The sausages we ordered were not there, and we incorrectly received a bolognese pasta dish instead. The chicken scallopini was plain, and did not have the lemon caper butter sauce, feta, or tomatoes as said in the description. Each tray of chicken and steak was supposed to serve 10, but I’d say there was enough meat for closer to 8 people.
As for the food itself: we enjoyed the bistecca Italiano, polenta, Caesar salad, and pork bolognese pasta (though it was given in error). The alfredo pasta had good flavor but could have used more sauce. The asparagus was ok, but not very flavorful and the ends were woody. As mentioned above, the chicken was bland and missing the sauce.
All in all, this experience was far below the standards that I expected from M’tuccis. I would say that this was a misuse of my time and money
Inside was clean, not upscale. The chairs were very uncomfortable for well fed old folks.
We began with the Fried Brie which was ok. The balsamic was overpowering and was drizzled on everything. I suggest honey as a better choice and taste. The points were also a bit hard.
Next we had the tomato bisque. The only zuppa choice for now.
The bisque itself was good however the croutons seemed to be laced with pepper of some kind which one of our party was allergic to. Come to find out that only the Salmon was not peppered.
Along with the Salmon we has the Smoked Beef Tip Ravioli and a flatbread white pizza. All the main dishes were good.
For dessert we had a Tiramisu, Lemon Ricotta Cookies and Pumpkin Twinkie. The Tiramisu was different but good, the others were good as well.
Our server, Isabel, was very nice and tried hard to accommodate the allergy issue. We know that is not always easy.
It was my husband’s and my anniversary, but my hubby was under the weather.
Food was packaged beautifully and tasted even better. We had Prine Rib and bacon wrapped scallops. Perfectly sauteed mushrooms. Tasty and nicely cooked asparagus
So good. Thank you Pelica s.
I sat at the bar since I was solo, and so I could better interact with some employees to ask about recommendations. If you have Mario as your bartender, you’ll be well taken care of. The staff was warm and friendly, we were quickly sharing conversation and laughs.
I was in no rush, so spent some time with the menu and my meal. I started the Bruschetta Pomodoro and an Italian lager, my main course was the hanger steak with a refreshing cocktail, and for dessert I had a salted caramel Gelato with a glass of Frangelico.
Firstly, the portions were incredible and quality was not sacrificed. The Bruschetta was fresh and light with just the right balance of veggies and balsamic. The sourdough it was served on had a satisfying crunch, but wasn’t hard to chew/bite.
The hanger steak came with potatoes, green beans, and a butter sauce. The potatoes were truly incredible; a whole one would be about a mouthful. They had a crispy exterior with a fluffy interior. I’m a big potato fan, and these blew my mind. The green beans were also wonderful, they’ve a light sear, so, they come with a nice light crunch. The steak was fantastic, cooked to perfection (I ordered medium rare), tender, and flavorful. I used a butter knife to cut the steak. All the items with the entree were phenomenal on their own, but the butter sauce enhanced everything on the plate without drowning out the flavor.
I finished off the meal with the gelato, the current flavor being salted caramel. I had asked which of the dessert menu drinks would pair best with the gelato, but was given an alternate recommendation of the Frangelico. This was truly a perfect pairing.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone without hesitation, and I wouldn’t have changed a thing even a little bit. There are other locations within Albuquerque, and I learned that each location’s menu is based on different regions of Italy. This location is based on Tuscany.
Upon arriving at Mi’tuccis, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were seated despite the very full parking lot and seemingly packed facility. Initial service was prompt, with our drinks and bread appetizer arriving swiftly.
However, things began to slow down after that. We sat for about 12-15 minutes before our server returned. We ordered an appetizer and a smoked Old Fashioned, but they were having issues with their smoker, which delayed the drink significantly. Even after 25 minutes, our appetizer had not arrived.
Our main dishes came out relatively quickly once we placed our order. The Old Fashioned finally arrived just a few minutes before our food, but it was unfortunately watered down from waiting for the smoker which never worked so I received a regular old fashioned. The food itself tasted good, but the prolonged wait detracted from our overall experience. Additionally, we went long periods without being checked on by our server, which further diminished our satisfaction.
Overall, the experience was just okay. We would definitely opt for the Coors location next time, hoping for a smoother and more attentive dining experience.
The staff is consistently attentive, and the service is paced well, which makes it easy to stay on schedule during the workday or linger a bit longer on weekends. Their menu offers a great mix of Tuscan-inspired dishes, lighter options, and brunch favorites, all crafted with the quality and attention to detail M’Tucci’s is known for.
Conveniently located off I-25, it’s an easy choice for both locals and visitors. Overall, M’Tucci’s Twenty-Five delivers reliable food, excellent service, and a versatile dining experience — highly recommended for business or leisure.
