OMG, Y’all the food here is fantastic! It’s honest, true to classic flavors, cooked with love. It’s a family business, tons of regulars. Oxtail was tender, and delicious. Nice big portions, homemade everything! Get yourselves some asap.

I really have no complaints. The staff was nice, the restaurant was clean. I understood upfront there was a wait for food and it was a reasonable time. Everything tasted as expected. The banana pudding was good as well. The lemonade is homemade and resembles Chick-fil-A’s lemonade. For a meat with two sides and a regular drink it was under $10.

Traveling from FL to SC and so glad we found this spot on Google. My dad grew up on a farm in AL and he said he felt like it was home cooking. I had the meatloaf, rutabagas & butter beans w/ cornbread … every bite was delicious! My son, who doesn’t appreciate soul food like we do, ordered the cheeseburger and said it tasted like a handmade patty. Several in our group ordered the catfish and loved it. We’re saving this one in our Google maps for the next trip this way!
