Called on Sunday to check for the price of beef stew. Phone connection was bad and was only trying to check the price. INSTEAD of apologizing for not being able to hear…whom ever answered the phone hung up. Called back 2 more times on different phones which apparently was the business phone because they were still unable to hear. That alone will not allow me to support this business…if food is anything similar to customer service. Beef stew was not on the menu for Sunday at a price for $20..NO THANKS!!!

Food was okay. Ox tails seemed more like neck bones to me and were boiled and had a lot of fat on them. Rice/gravy was bland. Sides we okay. Greens tasted like mustard greens. Based on reviews, I expected better tasting food. Especially for the price!

Went to Ms. Dees by recommendation from a client. The food was amazing! The sweet tea was the best I ever had and the meatloaf and sides were awesome! If you’re missing New Times Buffet then this is the place for you. My friends said the fried chicken was out of this world as well. The eating area was clean with sanitizer on each table and clean napkins.

Was visiting Tallahassee for a job function and searched google for black owned businesses. Visited here and had the chitterlings and let me say they did not disappoint. The owner came from the back to fix my plate and there was so much food on my plate. Anytime I visit Tallahassee I will be stopping by.

Always good customer service with some of the best soul food in the city. Smothered pork chops was fall off the bone tender and seasoned just right. Prices are affordable with good portion sizes. Perfect spot for Sunday dinner.

I am highly disappointed. I wanted some southern fried chicken but it was dry, hard and old looking. I asked the server how long it had been sitting out and she told me it had just came out of the grease 15 minutes ago! I’m sorry but fresh fried chicken doesn’t look like that. I tried to choose something else from the line but everything looked dried out; maybe the buffet unit was too high or maybe it was just an off day, but it shouldn’t be with those prices.
