I love this place. I messed around and walked by Mr. Zs. I was hoping it would be 11 by the time I was done on Duval, it wasnt. So I slowly walked to my car, hoping time would fly, it didn’t. It was only 10:56, I have little self control, so I called anyway . When I walked in the cashier didn’t know I called in but he said hi and told the guy to get him a slice of pepperoni and fries; he already knew what I was there for, Im special, duh Anyway, I got lunch and was on my way. Everything was perfect, of course.

This restaurant is authentically Philly- they even use amoroso’s rolls!!!. As a Philadelphian, born and raised, this was one of the best Philly cheese steak I’ve ever had! I love they they had cheese steaks with actual cheese instead of that witwiz that only south Philadelphians really eat. I loved the food and will be going back. I didn’t have the pizza yet but I heard also it’s remnicent to that late night pizza place on South Street Philly.
Definitely go here to get your after club meal!

When we were in the Keys, we walked everywhere and we were constantly hungry (I guess all that walking kept us wanted more food). So, one night, kind of late – we were walking around Southard Street and needed food stat. Our eyes searching the street for something delicious, but easy to eat (we were also tired from the day) and then we see the pizza sign and we knew that was what we wanted. This is not a sit down place inside or out. They only have a few high tops outside but we didn’t care, we were starving and wanted pizza ASAP. We ordered a large Tomato Pie and Cheese pizzas. It did take awhile for the pizza to come out, we kept watching the door for our dude with the pizza and finally the pizza was presented to us. We immediately all grabbed slices of pizza and just inhaled the slices. The pizza did not disappoint, it was very good. They serve New York style thin crust and that pizza really hit the spot.

10/10 cheesesteak born in Philly, live in Texas now. Such a treat on vacation to have a piece of home! Amazing cheese steak, best pizza in the Keys! Definitely recommend, we will be back.

We went to Mr. Z’s for the pizza, and while the pizza was really good, the cheesesteak was the star of the show.
Seriously, if you’re a cheesesteak lover, you need to try this. It’s the best cheesesteak this side of Philly. The meat was perfectly cooked, the cheese was gooey, and the roll was fresh. It was everything a great cheesesteak should be and then some.
The pizza was also excellent—hot, fresh, and with a great crust. But next time, I’m heading straight for the cheesesteak. It’s a must-have!

Ok . So coming from the NY/NJ area, I never have a high expectation of pizza outside our area. Wanted to stop into this little hole in the wall place to grab a slice with my son while we were rounding out our evening. Decided instead to just get a small pie , 1/2 bacon. So glad we did.
First of all, you walk in , the music is pumping , there are 6 guys behind the counter and the vibe is off the charts. I honestly didn’t expect entertainment while I waited but boy I got it. Singing, dancing , humor and watching 6 guys enjoy their jobs. It makes you wish every workplace was like this.
I don’t know whether it was truly the pizza or the extra love they seem to throw into it, but it was pretty darn good. I was super impressed with the pizza, price and service.
Definitely won’t be disappointed if you stop in here

Smaller place but amazing Pizza and crust.. we really liked it lots of Philadelphia memorabilia very cool staff and helpful. Definitely easy way to get some slices and I heard they have good cheesesteaks but I did not try it. Easy quick and you must try it especially if you like to see some cool Philadelphia memorabilia

Mr. Z’s pizza had amazing food, great service, and a fun atmosphere! They know how to make the best chicken parm sandwich … with cooked onions under the cheese. That’s right Alon! Speaking of … Alon and the whole crew there were hilariously witty! They really made the visit that much more special.
