So if you have been following my reviews, you know that I have been to every Mexican restaurant on 105 in Montgomery County. I will not go back to El Bosque in Montgomery or 7 Leguas near April Sound on 105. But tonight I ate some excellent Street Tacos and drank some yummy margaritas at Mr Taco & Tequila Bar. I will definitely come back here. They have 4 salsas that I tried and they were so tasty. I had the premium margaritas and they were pricey-$15 but really good so that will explain why we paid so much per person…$45 was in margaritas.

Out first time here. Found it a delightful surprise to get free cheese dip with the salsa and chips. I had the barbacoa mariachi street tacos. Plenty of meat and 5 was quite a bit for me so I had a couple to take home. My husband had the lunch pork street tacos and got 3 tacos and he was still hungry but he said they were good.

I last came here before they expanded and they were great. Now that they’ve expanded they are even better. The food is top tier as well as their drinks. This time Jason was our server he was great as well as the rest of the staff. I will be coming back again for sure. The tattoo shop next door is also great, I got my piercings done there.

This review is LONG overdue. The first time we came, in 2021, we were greeted and treated like family. This has become our “go to”. We tried a different Mexican restaurant in the woodlands last week bc we were there. All my kids kept saying was “It’s not Mr Taco”. Today’s visit promoted me no longer waiting to write a review. I have two girls. My youngest is almost two. They ALWAYS get the vending machine candy at the end of visits. We had no quarters. And before asking for change, THREE different waitresses gave both my girls treats out of there with their money. I then got $3 in quarters and instead of adding it to the bill, the owner said to add it to the waitress’s tip. The food is great, consistent, and my girls love the meat, we love it all and the margaritas are not $15 like everywhere else and they’re GREAT. But…aside from outstanding service and food and prices, we keep coming bc they make you feel like family. They take our baby and dance. They are always smiling and I promise you won’t have a bad experience here.

Fantastic place! Husband and I got the mixed fajitas to share. It was so good. The meat (beef and chicken) were very tender with a great seasoning flavor. The bell peppers were mostly yellow bp which I love. The onions were just the right thickness and cooked to perfection as well. The rice was fluffy and had a great flavor. Beans were very good as well. Guacamole is what I prefer, no tomatoes. This is a really great place with affordable prices!

Love this place! Consistency and flavor is always spot on. My husband and I always sit at the bar, great spot for date night. I get the mariachi tacos and a margarita. The presentation is always clean and the taste is very fresh. I love the beans they serve with the tacos. And they never send food with out with yucky, brown avocado slices like some places try to do, I hate that! One time I even came in 20 minutes before close and they still served me with kindness and like I wasn’t a bother. Thank you so much!

Right away, the salsa verde is delicious. Service was great. Of course, the Don Julio Anejo was perfect and margaritas were tasty and not overpowering. The tacos were excellent, and enchiladas were very good. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend
