We loved this place. I’m surprised to see some reviews complaining about the service. Our server that day was super friendly and thoughtful. My girl enjoyed the caterpillar roll so much. We loved legos and were happy to see all the Lego decorations. The only thing I feel they could improve on is the batter of the chicken karage. It was a bit too hard.

BEWARE OF LUNCH. We have had dinner from here and I thought the sushi was really good. However, 2 out of the 3 times I have been here for lunch portions, look, and taste were terrible. Attached is a picture of the what the Lion King Roll is supposed to look like and what we received. The crab meat on top looks like a spaghetti. The end pieces of the roll (that didn’t have the tail) were all avocado and not even a little shrimp, I know that skimping out on the ends is normal but no shrimp at all is ridiculous. After eating two pieces my stomach has been hurting for the last 7 hours. The last time we got lunch from here the rolls we normally love did not taste the same, but at least they didn’t get us sick so we thought maybe it was unlucky. They need to fire whoever is making the rolls during lunch because this quality control is terrible and I will not be coming back here after it made me sick.

Tucked away near crumbl cookie is this cute little find of a restaurant. Amazing Japanese art everywhere you look around. The legos are great conversation piece. Generous quantity of food and superlative service by Jhi yu!!! Fresh , clean tasting sushi as well!!

I really wanted to like this place. The restaurant itself is extremely nice and decorated beautifully, and the presentation of the sushi was impressive. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t match the visuals.
Most of the sushi just wasn’t up to par, and the octopus nigiri in particular was a letdown — it was extremely chewy and had a noticeable fishy smell that wasn’t right . The fact is was served to me with the smell kind of shocked me . You could smell it 5ft away .
Eel nigiri was way off as well, tuna roll wasn’t balanced right .

This place should rank as one of the best Sushi restaurants in the NoVA area. Fresh, tasty, imaginative and consistently high quality ingredients especially special rolls menu.
We usually go to the Lansdowne location (A+++); so this was our first time in the Ashburn location- and it did not disappoint.

Do not go here if you have a gluten allergy – they will not take it seriously. I ordered online & called immediately because there wasn’t a place to type about packaging my rolls separately from the others due to an allergy. They said the rolls had already been made (getting someone to go to the kitchen took several minutes) but said they’d take care of it. I got home with my order (mistakenly didn’t look at it before pulling away) and my rolls are in a separate box and the whole side of both are covered in eel sauce and tempura crunchies so I cannot eat my food. I called and had to fight for a refund due.

They don’t respect other’s time!!!! Specially delivery driver’s time. We are not only taking foods from you Guys. More busier restaurants are faster than you. Please hire more people if you cant make the food on time or cancel those orders before you accepting too many orders. Obviously trying to sell more food with fewer employees. I have waited for 45 min. The tricky part is they won’t tell you how long is the waiting time. All they saying is Not yet not yet….. if you have told me it would take 45 min i wouldn’t wait from the beginning

I had the spicy chicken ramen at Mr. Sushi Mrs. Roll, and it was fantastic! The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. The atmosphere is awesome—beautifully decorated and inviting. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff. It’s also in a convenient location with ample parking, and the area feels very safe. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that I highly recommend!

It was my first time here, google maps had the wrong location, its right next to dunkin doughnuts and they open at 11:30.

As a huge fan of Mr. Sushi/Mrs. Roll in Lansdowne, decided to come out this way to support their new location. Being that this was during the initial opening, there was a little bit of a wait but it as no more than 15 minutes during a very busy time.
The food was excellent. As a fan of their fried rice and baked salmon roll, I decided to compare with the original location. The food was delicious and it was served fresh and hot. Staff was friendly and the restaurant clean.
A much larger location then their counterpart with some added flair to their atmosphere. Good alternative to their original location (I still prefer the OG though!) but you won’t be disappointed!
