This is a great restaurant for date night, friends gatherings or family dinner. No matter the occasion, a good time is had at Mr. Habanero. Our family has been visiting since it opened and not once have they disappointed. Cocktail drinks are good. Paleta shots are great! Food is plentiful and delicious. Environment is always friendly, up beat and always some light music playing. Aneida is our favorite waitress but everyone is great!

We were looking for somewhere new to eat & came across this place and were convinced by all the great reviews. They were very welcoming, the hostess opened the door for us on the way in and out! Adriana was excellent and very friendly. The food portions are nice and plentiful with great prices!! Restaurant is beautiful and I LOVE the music they play. Will be back!!

I visited Mr. Abanero for lunch and decided to order breakfast. I chose the chilaquiles with over-medium eggs. The restaurant setup immediately caught my attention—it’s impressive how they transformed what used to be a Golden Corral into a welcoming space.
The highlight of the dish was the red sauce, which delivered authentic flavor and depth, clearly made from dried chiles rather than commercial shortcuts. However, the execution was inconsistent. The eggs were overcooked despite being ordered over medium, and the black beans lacked seasoning and complexity.
Overall, the flavors showed great potential, and I’m looking forward to returning for dinner to explore more of their menu.

Oh my I had this bass dish that was not on the menu yet. It was exceptional. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The fish, shrimp, mashed potatoes and lobster sauce really complimented each other. Kudos to Omar for suggesting it. My husband had the Carne Asada he said it was very good. They are under new management and you can definitely tell in the flavors. Tasted a lot of love in the food. First time in a very long time I ate everything on my plate.

Finally got to try this place and it did not disappoint.
We immediately loved the set up and the comfortable spacious sitting.
We felt welcomed and were given a run down of the menu. It was hard to choose with all the delicious authentic options. I decided for the “Enchiladas Rojas Michoacanas” and they were delicious, with freshly made tortillas.
Also tried their Margarita and that unfortunately did disappoint., it tasted watered down., I did bring it up to the waitress attention and she made sure they fixed it.
Overall the experience was great and we can’t wait to return.

Second time here and if you want to feel like luxury, this is the spot! Our server (Edgar) is my FAVORITE! He’s became our friend while serving us. He gives such a friendly and vibrant atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious. My favorite is the chilaquiles and a good spicy margarita. I can’t wait to come back and make more memories. 10 out of 10!

The drinks were strong and tasty. I loved my Watermelon Mule.
I had the Habanero Spaghetti. It was more like a pasta dish, but I liked it. I would’ve liked a little bit more seasoning or spice versus the cheese. Still, it was good.
I will definitely be going back. When you have a taste for Mexican food, you should consider checking out Mr. Habanero.

Please please do yourself a favor and check this place out. Went to celebrate a birthday with a big party and spontaneously decided to come here, and from the moment we entered the hostess opening the door for us, the staff greeting everyone and being very accommodating everything was more than we expected. The food was top notch and I especially liked how there was lots of vegetarian options. The place was modern yet homey and everything was super clean. Can’t say good enough things about this place and the staff!

My best friend and I tried this place out the other night and were quite impressed for a first time. The food was very good and the service was great! It was a little loud with the DJ playing music and videos but it was fun. I will definitely be going back soon!
