Daisy and I chose this spot for our weekly bike and breakfast ride, and the ride over was spectacular, if not a little breezy. We were pleased to find they had 2 tiny tables outside, so we opted for the air. The menu is loaded with options, so Daisy and I did our usual and shared the biscuits and gravy, and The Double Deuce. The Deuce was 2 slices of custard French toast (or pancakes) and 2 eggs, bacon and sausage each. I say “was” because it lived a very short life before being devoured by the two of us. The French toast was excellent, fluffy and tasty. Eggs and meats were good, tho Daisy prefers a thicker cut of bacon. And the biscuits and gravy was delicious, fluffy biscuits with a slightly crispy crust, and very savory sausage gravy.
The service was fast and friendly, and Daisy and I were both convinced they left something off of our bill because the price was so low. (In fact, they forgot to charge us for 2 juices, but Daisy made sure we paid for them.)

All in all, a fantastic cozy little spot for at tasty early meal. Highly recommended!!

Mr. D’s Breakfast & Lunch is an absolute gem and a perfect example of what a great local diner should be. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a genuine sense of care from the staff. You can feel the family-run atmosphere, which adds so much to the overall experience. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home.

The food was fantastic — classic breakfast and lunch options that hit the spot. The portions were generous, the flavors were spot on, and everything was freshly prepared. What makes it even better are the prices — very reasonable and affordable, especially for the quality and service you receive.

One thing that really stood out to us was how clean the entire place was. The dining area, tables, and restrooms were all spotless, which made our meal that much more enjoyable. You can tell the owners take great pride in maintaining a welcoming environment for their guests.

If you’re looking for a great local spot with excellent food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere, Mr. D’s is absolutely worth the visit. We highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

Upon leaving yesterday, my sister and I noticed that one of the members of the party of eight had left their dog locked in the car. No windows cracked. It is not hot out right now but it does not stay nice inside of a closed up car in Florida even when it is not super hot out. It was by no means comfortable, when we got into our sitting cars, and so we know that the dog was uncomfortable. My sister wanted to go back in and tell the person face to face, but to avoid any nastiness, I called into Mr. D’s and asked for the person who answered to let the party of eight know, that I would be calling animal services if they didn’t come out and at least crack the windows. I was promptly hung up on. I will not be back. Also, the server spilled coffee on me. It’s not been a super pleasant experience all 3 times we’ve eaten there and we ignored it, for the good food. I can ignore my own discomfort for some things, but animal neglect/cruelty is not something I’ll ignore.

When walking in I noticed how clean and open this place is. Very small and quaint, you can see right into the kitchen where the baked goods are sitting on the counter.
We were greeted by the chef and server offered complimentary mini muffins right away.
The coffee is very good and the food was terrific.
There’s counter seating, tables and booths. The service was excellent and prompt.
The prices were very good, esp. for the portions. Everything was fresh and delicious.
So glad this place is so close by so we can enjoy it often!!
Very nice place with great prices
My first visit had the Western Omelette, my second had the Southern Scramble, both were very good but the scramble was definitely on top. The red velvet mini muffin is delicious as is the French toast muffin.
You very quickly realize this is a neighborhood favorite with all of the return customers who are recognized by the restaurant employees.
Great spot.

My wife and I went here for the first time for breakfast and we were blown away. Everything from the food quality, service, pricing and atmosphere were sensational. We both took advantage of the Steak & Egg special which was under $10 with the purchase of a drink. I highly recommend Mr. D’s and will without a doubt be back very soon. Oh yeah, they fresh bake muffins daily and give you three of them when you first sit down. WOW they were delicious!

Found this place looking for a random breakfast spot. Small place in the corner of a plaza very clean outside. Was seated very quickly and greeted as soon as I came thru the door. My waitress was very polite and service was great. I a wrap with gravy sauce on top and I was very disappointed. It tasted very bland and I even removed the gravy to see if it was was just the sauce. Nope even the wrap I self was bland. The lady next to me had an omelet and she even asked for the salt and pepper. She said must be different cooks today. Everything else was very pleasant but don’t know if I would go back and try breakfast again maybe lunch.

The food was amazing 10 out of 10! I had the chicken country skillet. It was amazing. My husband had the steak country skillet and it was amazing. My Mother had the fried cod, fish sandwich, and she could not get enough of it. The restaurant is very clean and it’s a friendly environment. We definitely will be back thank you.

A hidden Gem for breakfast….I love breakfast and it is very hard to find something that doesn’t wreck my intestines. This breakfast was filling and delicious. The biscuits and gravy MOUTHWATERING! Eggs cooked to perfection. Idk what kind of bread was used for the French toast but OMG! Hashbrowns were perfect and not oily or too buttery. Coffee was delivered in big mugs not the 4oz side. It was a little cool in there but ask to turn down the fan and the accommodation was perfect! Thank you for everything it was worth the drive❤️Staff was very accommodating and polite
