I have no idea what these recent reviews are on or if they went to a completely different restaurant and accidentally clicked on this one to review but my experience with this restaurant is pulling into the parking lot thinking it was abandoned, doors were locked, lights were off (I assume trying to save electricity money since the place was empty), and it seemed like nobody was there. My bf and I went up to check since it said it was open and an older man came to the door from the back where the only lights were on. After we had waited an hour to receive are food I was extremely disappointed. Very obviously not made fresh and was heated up (still cold in middle) food didn’t taste good and are orders were drowned in watery sauces to the point the breading of the chicken was extremely soggy. Will never go again, thank God theirs a good Chinese place down the road from this one or I would have been hungry. I feel bad cause I’m assuming it’s only the one guy running it ATM but it was just such an odd experience I had to write a review.

Of all the Chinese restaurants in the Ashtabula area, Moy’s is by far the best tasting and best value. The meat used in their dishes (beef and chicken are what I have tried) is of a high quality and the portions are large. They do not skimp on the inclusion of their meats, but instead provide a higher ratio than any local competitors. The meal sizes in general are large and will set you up with leftovers. A person can have a meal and plenty of leftovers for $10 to $15. Great value!

I’ve been eating here for years, never a bad experience. The wait for this food is typically 30-40 minutes and I promise it’s worth every second. It’s made fresh every meal and they use pure white meat chicken. It’s the best Chinese food you will ever have I highly reccomend it

Honestly my wife and I knew the reviews were good but to be honest it was better than we expected. Portions are great and everything is made fresh to order. Best Chinese food in Ashtabula county hands-down

I love it here !! I’ve been coming here since I was a small child. The salt baked shrimp is the BEST!! Helen is so amazing, she’s so sweet. The food use to take a while but I’ve noticed an improvement in their speed. The price is great for the amount of food you get. I never leave hungry. The egg rolls are also phenomenal. 5/5 ❤️

The best food hands down in Ashtabula. You wait for a while but everything is being freshly made by one person. It’s not like typical Chinese places that cook a meal in 5 minutes. It’s made with love here. Egg rolls are the best but do have an acquired taste i guess. Lots of people I know don’t like them but I think their delicious. The Honey Chicken is to die for. The sauce is so sweet and coats the chicken perfectly. I haven’t had a bad meal at all. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl. We love moys and appreciate the hard work they put into every dish.

What a lovely experience! The place is spacious and quiet; and the food is delicious and carefully made, in huge portions, and astoundingly cheap! (Everything is about $5 underpriced, seriously.) The lady who waited on us was kind and attentive, besides. They are really doing a lot with a little. Shame on anyone who complains about how long it takes for them to make their incredible, home-made meals! I plan to come back here for any kind of special occasion that calls for dining out–especially if there is a large group, as Moy’s has such a nice, big banquet hall.

They’ve been really on the ball lately with their times on carry out orders, before 45 minutes was about an hour or longer, I hope it keeps up thier food is really good. Have had several of their dishes and all really tasty, tender steak same with the chicken. In my opinion the best of this kind of food in the city.

Very calm very family oriented atmosphere. Anyone who says that the food is not worth the wait is crazy. The food is brought out in stages and is truly made to order. From the time I sat down to the time I paid and left was only 1 hour it was a nice calming meal if your looking for fast food this is not your place but if your looking for quality food with a calm atmosphere this is the place you need to try! Will be returning often!
