Holiday Vigil
This is a new business, and I’ve already been here a lot of times. All those times have been consistently impressed with the quality and freshness. Naturally, when I love the place, I recommend it to my families and close friends at first. This is my daughter and I new favorite place to go. So here I am now going public, highly recommending this place, hands down! I love their acai bowls, and I usually add either PB, Agave and or Nutella:-)

I’ve been coming for here for a while now and never had an issue till now, I went in to get the usual a verry berry bowl, Proats. Told the dude “I want NO coconut” and after once he proceeded to add it on his till, again I told him “I DONT want coconut”. Once I get my order, man hands me my bowl with coconut flakes on there, and I told him bro I literally said no coconut and said “you said add coconut” like bro why would I mention something that shows that’s included in the bowl, I’m obviously telling you NO COCONUT for a reason. SMH and to top it all off he says “I’ll redo the order”. He scrapped off all the fruit that had coconut and gave me the bowl back with less fruit. Like I always get this. And every location never given me this small amount of fruit.

First and last time I been there, got my daughter a drink, from how I normally had seen her drink b4 when dad gets it, it be darker in color well this one i got was very light n my daughter said very watery, I take it back just for another one the employee gave me a hard time about it, then when she makes a new one its even worse, threw it away, $10. in trash, I took her somewhere else for a drink. I wont go back thats for sure..

Acai bowls are better at TrueBowl and so are the drinks. I pay the same price at True Bowl and get more for my money more fruit and more drink goodness…

I’ve ordered from here twice and twice they’ve gotten my order wrong. First time I ordered the Rio bowl. Classic açaí bowl with bananas and strawberries took a bite and it tasted like peanut butter. Nowhere on the menu does it say that PB is included. I’m not allergic but it’s not really my preference. Today I went again with my BF. I asked the cashier if there was any PB in the Rio bowl and she said no unless I got it with the premium açaí base. I made sure to order it with the plain açaí base. My bf ended up ordering the Nutella Banana bowl with the premium base. We get our orders and AGAIN my bowl has peanut butter. We ended up switching because his bowl didn’t have any peanut butter in it even though he ordered the premium base. I think whoever made it mixed up the two bowls but that is an extremely dangerous mixup if someone has a nut/peanut butter allergy. At this point I think I’ll skip on ordering bowls from here completely.

The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. The acai bowls are always great and consistent. Best value acai bowls I’ve had. Also their juices always taste fresh. You can tell they use the best and freshest ingredients.
