I can’t stop coming here since I went for the first time. A dairy free fritter is such a treat! while I love their apple fritter all the seasonal flavors are good too. For a vegan fried donut you absolutely cannot tell the difference. I love the creative flavors and the donuts are a nice size. If you want a specific flavor you’ve gotta get their early!

I stoped by here to get donuts after a 5k at the arboretum. The donuts are delicious and very filling. The flavors are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. There was a line out the door when I got there but it went quick. They only allow six people inside the store at one time, but I think that’s good so that you don’t feel pressure when you want to take your time selecting your flavor of donut. Highly recommend getting a half dozen or even a dozen. I really enjoyed the pistachio lemon and the blueberry cream filled. One of the best donuts I’ve ever had plan on going back sometime soon.

Some of favorite sweets in DC (that just so happen to be vegan ) and great, fast service. The shop is located conveniently near a metro stop and bus stops and offers different flavors by the month. HIGHLY recommend, loved by vegans and non-vegans alike. It’s important to note that indoor seating isn’t available nor are restrooms.

Crazy good donuts for any vegan or allergy folks. The whole fam loved them. The pumpkin whip was especially amazing. Good coffee and friendly service too. Worth the drive if you’re not nearby (we’re in Nova) and will be back!

Moving to Northwest has been great. Discovering donut run is so close to my house has been a gift and a curse. The donuts are amazing arguably the best in the city. I’ve returned multiple times since my initial visit. The staff is excellent and always have been nice and friendly. The options are vast with rotating specials. I definitely recommend!

I used to regularly get donuts from Donut Run when I worked in Takoma Park, and they were always a highlight of my week. The donuts are absolutely delicious, and honestly, you’d never guess they’re vegan. (I’m not vegan.)

My cousin, who is vegan, was visiting recently and Donut Run was at the top of our list. Just like I remembered, they did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, fluffy, and perfectly delicious. And this is coming from someone who isn’t even really a donut person. Highly recommend. Apple fritter is the bomb. I just wish there were a location closer to me. 🙂

I gave them another chance …and for early morning business hours the energy is always so low. Today, the staff was just not in the mood AGAIN. I ordered 10 donut holes. I requested them be bagged and I also had to request a parchment sheet~~ the parchment paper should be given with every purchase to keep the sugar and delightful taste off the paper bag~~ but I see only a select few get this service because for me I ALWAYS have to ask or remind them. I also ordered a cream brûlée…and the same thing, yet this time the cashier hands me the paper so I can do it myself. I expressed that the lady who was serving was gloved and asked if she could. I did attempt to myself but the sugar was all over the top of the bag. I got sugar on my fingers and I didn’t want to get it on my coat. The cashier sighed with an attitude and handed me a bag. I repeated myself and she then says “Oh you want me to do it”. Actually I didn’t. I would never want the cashier who is touching a machine and dirty money with same gloves to re bag food that I am to eat. She then grabs the donut out the bag and squeezed it and threw it away. Opens a new bag and wraps the donut like it’s a Christmas gift and throws it in the bag. …With still the same gloves on. She then says here and lightly tossed the two bags in front of the persons order behind me. I was too afraid to ask for her to change her gloves I’ve seen what the youth do to adults today. I felt bullied to accept filth. And definitely to accept the disrespect and poor service. I’ve written a few reviews about the service~~ now I’m feeling a bit attacked, being this is a local establishment that is in my community of 48 years. We the people here are well known, sort of like cheers but they know your face not name.

Fantastic yeast doughnuts, vegan or not. My all time favorite sweet is a doughnut and I’m not easily impressed because it’s hard to find exactly what I’m looking for. Not too sweet, good quality, and balanced flavor. I like just a plain classic glazed best and they nailed it. The chocolate cake doughnut and some of the more fun/novel flavors were just alright, still good quality though. They have a good selection of flavors and the people behind the counter were polite/kind. No seating. Cute pink boxes. Smelled amazing inside. Would like more/different coffee options and to-go forks please!

Donut walk, run to Donut Run. Wife and I stopped by today for the first time and holy wow are we glad this place is a 30min drive from us. We got a variety of 6 and each one was better than the next. Best donuts we have ever had.

Congrats Donut Run! You guys have knocked it out of the park. See you in a month

I’ve been waiting to try this donut spot over the last few months and I must say I was not disappointed. They had so many different flavors it was tough to choose from. Fun fact, this spot is vegan. The donuts were airy and sweet with a perfect balance of icing to dough ratio. They had a friendly staff as well.
