A combo of situations lead to this one star review. I arrived about a full hour before the super bowl started Sunday afternoon, so of course it was busy. There were only two employees I could see working. The orders were stacking up, wait times were long, and while I believe the employees were working to keep up, the atmosphere felt disorganized and stressful. A simple acknowledgement from the employees of “hello” or “be with you as soon as we can” with new customers entering the building would have gone a long way. Undoubtedly, similar situations will occur again, and it would be prudent to implement this step.

Multiple customers asked questions regarding their orders while I was there. Unfortunately, not all of them were respectful, which added to the stressful environment. To an extent, I understand their frustration as orders placed after theirs were fulfilled first, and there was no clear explanation to customers for why orders were not being filled in chronological order, adding to the low morale in the restaurant.
Again, I appreciate the two workers trying to keep things going on what was obviously a busy time right before the game, and I won’t assume the reason why the restaurant was understaffed, but it does not change the result, and the result was it was a bad experience. It took a long time to order, or even get acknowledged, waiting for the order took a long time, and we were still missing items when we checked at home.
I hope management can assess what happened, consider this review, what customers had to say, and make improvements for next time.

Just went through drive thru. We ordered a 12 piece family deal, with an extra side. It took 20 minutes to get to the window. We were told it would be 20 minute wait for crispy, but didn’t have to wait for regular. So we switched up the order. Still waited 20 minutes for the order. Then ensured everything was in the bags. Found out when we got home, we are missing the extra side. Called and talked to restaurant manager and was blown off.
Do better KFC. Teach your managers customer service skills and for gosh sakes, sort out the kitchen schedule….

I ordered through the app for pick up. When I arrived at the time it was suppose to be ready I was told it wasn’t ready yet and it would be another 5 minutes. After waiting 15 more minutes I went back to the counter to ask about it and my bags of food had been just sitting on the counter. Not one of the employees called my name and it just sat getting cold. I asked about it and told them it was cold and all I got was an attitude filled “sorry” and then they just walked away complaining to another employee that I was whining about my order. I would suggest going to any other KFC.

Delicious and fresh Chickens.!! After my son’s soccer game we ordered classic chicken combo, and classic wings. So yummy and fries are me and my son’s favorite!! So good. Crews are kind and caring people. My son said he loves KFC chicken sandwich with mac and cheese lol

Wouldn’t recommend coming to this kfc in Salem never have I came and got a famous bowl and it only have 5 pieces of chicken, I for sure won’t be coming back.

Food was tasty, but we could tell it had been in the warmer for quite a while.
It’s not something I feel strongly about, but I’m not a fan of all the Colonel Sanders pictures and quotes.

We ordered the Mac and cheese and he said it was a 10 minute wait so he gave us commentary drinks for our wait. Good food and customer service. Big shout out to MJ who was our server.

I will never come back to this KFC again I know I should’ve checked my bag before leaving, but they didn’t put two sides eight biscuits cause what is good with chicken and no sides or sides and no chicken they told me specifically over the phone that they would just replace the order because I couldn’t make it back in that night. I was already home with my daughter so when I come back they tell me they can only give me the sides. Why would I come back for sides and biscuits just a waste of time

Absolute garbage. Wrong order, chicken tastes like salty glue, everything is overcooked and old, no way to complain or get a refund. I can’t imagine a worse experience. I’d pay to not eat here again.
