If you all have not been in the new Mountainside Deli, you need to try it. Such nice people, food is great, the chili is spectacular! Sandwiches are great, salads and of course, they still have the empanadas like Mike use to have.

This is a family run business. That is the most amazing at taking care of your needs that I have ever seen. I have been all around the world and eaten that many different places. You may think from the outside that it is a simple business, but that is not the point. The point is that these people care about you and when you eat your food it is exactly the way you would make it yourself at home. I would love to adopt these people because they are so much like me and so good at taking care of other people. Forget about all the other sandwich, shops and gas stations and whatever for food because you will never find the selection and the quality right here. Make sure you stop for your morning coffee And they have bagels as well and the bagels are great.

Incredible!! We were visiting from Seattle Washington, and wanted to get some sandwiches. We ordered 10 taylor ham egg n cheese sandwiches and a few other things and wow! They were amazing! The owner was just as awesome. Great place and great people!

I had an hour to kill while my son had a meeting across the street. Walked over to order some food bc I was hungry and didn’t know the area. The convenience section had pretty much what people would want but the real surprise was the food menu. A good selection to choose from and the portions are VERY generous. I ordered a regular cheesesteak, Italian sub, and chicken cutlet sandwich to eat with the kids. Service was friendly too. If I’m ever in the area again, I’m definitely stopping by.

Shout out to Mountainside Deli on Green Pond Road! They put together an amazing Italian sub platter for my party, and it did not disappoint! Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and incredible flavor. Everyone at the party loved it. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for great food and friendly service! 10/10!

Tried their Italian sub platter because of a friend referral and she was absolutely correct! It wasn’t just good, fresh food but the owner offered delivery without asking. So humble I basically had to beg him to let me offer a tip for the delivery. Needless to say, I’ve already gone back to order another catering platter!

I love the new Mountain Side Deli and the family owners. This deli has been here since I was a kid with various different owners and names. I honestly can say this is the best new family owners. They care about their customers, greet you when you enter and ask that you have a great day when you leave. They care so much about you and your business that if they don’t carry one of your regulars such as my Copenhagen Straight Long Cut, they start stocking it for you. This deli is more than a deli. It’s like a mini hardware / tech store. USB Gaming headsets, charger cables, fire-sticks, surge protectors and more than I can list here. This is the first owner in my lifetime of going there “I’m 47 now” that actually paved the parking lot and put in handicap spaces and parking lines. Anyone who’s gone there prior knows the pot hole disaster it used to be and the lack of greeting you would get from the previous owner. Not to mention they never would restock my Copenhagen 🙂 It was dirty and dingy before and now it’s bright and clean. This is the best I ever seen this store. The have pizza, beef and chicken empanadas that are delish. You should try them and check out this store. If you’re passing through or visiting and in the need of something you may need at a Deli, Hardware Store, Cleaning Supplies store, Technology store, this Deli may have what you need. Check it out!

So I stopped here for a beverage the other night and saw the sandwich area. I liked what I saw so this time I got a sandwich. I ordered an italian hero. This sandwich was amazing. It was fresh and well packed. It was an 8 incher. There is an option of 16 inches. Also, the bread did not get soggy from the condiments. The sandwich rivals many italian deli’s. I will be trying more sandwiches from this place. The sandwich was so good. I forgot to take a photo because I was enjoying it so much.But here is a photo of the sandwich area.

The Mountainside Deli has everything one person could possibly need. For people like me who live so close, it’s a godsend because I don’t have to commute to ShopRite for some peanut butter! The food is fresh and the chicken noodle is the best! If that doesn’t satisfy you try their homemade empanadas, and have a warm welcome as well as coffee to really make the morning drive easier! Thank you Neil for making the Mountainside deli what it is!
