Not even worth a star. Apparently they have a new card policy of your using a MasterCard or a Visa. They verify ID when making the delivery. Whoever’s name is on the card must be the one to sign for the delivery. I placed an order for delivery last night online and immediately got called and they said that before they can deliver the pizza they wanted to let us know that since my name is on the card, I needed to be the one to sign for the delivery. It has never been that way. I explained that my husbands card had fraud on it and I was stuck at work in Modesto so I ordered dinner. I was told sorry this is policy even though I gave them my husbands name to verify that way. They don’t seem to care that it’s an inconvenience for a lot of people who may only have 1 bank card. The guys said a lot of people don’t see the policy changes on the website which means they need to make it bigger and put that disclaimer on the front page. We will not be going there again.

It would be a zero if I could, never had a bad MM experience until Newman. New policy they don’t make your order until you show card/ID or talk to them which defeats the purpose of ordering online but they provide the email with the order confirmation and time the order will be ready which ended up being 1 hr after scheduled ready time, new policy reason given was because the owners “want it this way” $136 order on a birthday/school night, 1 hr late, will never buy from Newman or Patterson Mountain Mikes again.

I ordered a pizza before the restaurant opened because I know they rarely have pizzas ready on time (with a tip like I’m accustomed). Also, their service can be very poor, this is the 2nd or 3rd time they leave my pizza sitting there as I wait and do not bother to check if it’s ready. To make this story short, Araceli was not customer service friendly. No greeting, no communication, just handing you a pen and handing back after I said it didn’t work. No conversation, no explanation. Her apology seemed insincere and condescending when I brought the incident to their attention. As a former manager at Costco and current HR manager, this was really a poor experience, and I’m sure they were smirking behind the masks. There is no remorse or accountability because there is little supervision. I think they’re all friends. My pizza was cold at arrival, and I only live 2 minutes away. My documented time was 15 minutes of my pizza sitting there. Please have some consideration. Acknowledge people, be transparent, and, most importantly, be kind. So sad for a well known pizza I’ve always loved since first having it in the central coast. If Araceli is her name, as she says, she has done this more than once, and I think that’s why she wears the face mask, with no name tag.

Omg! The stinch of sewage was awful and the restrooms were Filfthy the sewage smell mixed with pinesol and bleach was unbearable. Staff refused to allow us to keep doors open for fresh air. (Said it was policy)? The worst experience at a mountain mikes ever! Quickest dine in, had to eat and run. So embarrassing I invited 7 people.

Horrible service… Deliveries are always late never on time. Orders are usualt mest up. Today delivery took 2+ hours and when they finaly got here one had so many jalapeños we couldn’t eat them. The other one the bacon was so burnt we gad to take it all off before we could even eat it. Would never order from this palce again… time after time same story.

Hardly any cheese on the edges of the pizza. To much pizza sauce in the middle none on the edges when i specifically requested light sauce. Cheesy garlic bread not even cut and placed on top of one another so all the cheese melted to one piece of bread im never ordering here again.

Still the best pizza in town. Their time frames are way off though. If they say 30 min… make that 45min. Delivery in 1 hour… make that 1 1/4 hour. Still the best tasting/most toppings in town.

Make sure to check the food there if you order it online or over the phone. Our pizza had a sharp piece of wood in it and they also do not communicate that they’re out of meat/produce/etc. I got my sandwich with a thin slice of salami and barely any cheese, when I ordered everything on it. They do not give you what you pay for.
