We had an outstanding experience at Mountain Burger. First of all, our server, Whitney, was not only helpful and cheery, but she made sure we were taken care if from beginning to end. Just fabulous. For the food, we opted for their signature burger and it did not disappoint. Fresh, locally sourced beef, and a bun that actually holds up. For an appetizer, we opted for the maple bacon sweet potato fries. Let me tell you, one of the best appetizers out there! Cocktails were well crafted and tasty, and I even walked away with one of their cool t-shirts. Atmosphere is very Bend, and totally comfy. Can’t wait to go back!

Burgers are pretty good. Plenty of options even to build your own or if you have dietary restrictions. My husband ordered The Mogul (giant vanilla milkshake), which was bigger than he expected. It’s definitely enough for two people. It was a good atmosphere and wasn’t too busy when we went on a Friday evening.

First time eating here and we’ll be back. Good food and so many options for modifying your food. Our crew included one vegan, one GF & lactose free eater, a friend who always needs a whiskey or rum drink and then two folks that just try to eat healthy. And we all were stoked with our food! My sweet potato burger with a half salad was great, and the side of cauliflower was delicious.
Staff was great, only request is better non-alcoholic drinks beyond sugary sodas. Even kombucha would be great.

From an atmosphere perspective this place is awesome. Atmosphere and vibe alone will make you want to return to eat here again and again. Service – our service person was so darn good. Nice, attentive, great conversation, professional all wrapped up into her personality and style. I always lead with the food in my reviews but the above two things stood out so much they deserved the lead.
Now Menu and Food =
The Menu has a perfect blend of quality burger choices and also has burger burritos (and other) and burger (or normal) salad options. This means everyone in our group had lots of excellent choices, even for people who do not want a burger or hamburger type meat. The burgers were excellent in every way (meat quality, bun, onions, cheese, flavoring both on and off (sauce options on the side). We visit Bend almost every year and have tried ten burger places and I would put Mountain Burger there with the top 3 of burger joints. So I now put this in a must return again and again category and would highly recommend Mountain Burger to anyone.

The sweet potato vegan burger is good and the wife says drinks are awesome salad was top notch and the servers can work with those who have food allergies. Oh by the way for dessert, The Mogul is very tasty for caramel and chocolate lovers.

Our first time here and I am on the fence. The ambience of the restaurant is great and I was super excited when we sat down, especially with that being fast followed by complimentary house made pickles- yum! Next up we split a plate of the loaded fries and they were delicious, although about half way through we both stopped eating them because they were extremely sweet and “heavy”. Then to the most disappointing part.. the burger. Which at a burger joint, you typically want this to be the best part! Unfortunately the burgers are extremelyyy small with tiny patties that can’t live up to the toppings. And with how small the burgers are and come with no side of fries, they are overpriced. I have faith because i think there is a lot of potential here that I hope they work out. Overall everything was good and our server was very friendly.

We’re here from out of town and a good burger sounded on the nose, but I wasn’t prepared for this.
We had the lamb burger, salmon burger, the “sweet heat” burger of the week, and a build your own. Everything was phenomenal, from there being plenty of feta on the lamb down to the fries being super crispy.
We also got some beers and floats for the kids… all of which also passed the bar. And the service was on point too.
I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone coming through town.

This is the second time I’ve been here and it will not be the last. The staff is always friendly and (if you’re looking for a conversation) chatty. The burgers are fabulous! Perfect balance of flavors and are built in such a way they don’t fall apart as you eat them. The hand-cut fries are lightly salted and crispy while still tasting like an actual potato. There’s a beer list that is on constant rotation so you can always find something new. The prices are right where I would expect this level of quality to be. Did I mention the boozy milkshakes? I highly recommend coming by and giving them a try.

First, we voted for their soup as our favorite at the HDFFA Souper Bowl 2025 competition. Next we thought best to pay them a visit to check out their burgers. (Recommend Hangover Burger) Then we stumbled on their clean and accessible restrooms (that’s what we built a directory for). We discovered their dedication to local cause programs (that fits with our newly launched Cause Stop program) and to top it off, an incredible manager on duty that day (Ian) who just simply loves being there. What more can you want? Nice model, great job Mountain Burger!

After a little bit of a wait, we were sat down outside under the heaters. Service is wonderful! You guys have some very nice people on your team! Ordered, and our milkshakes came, I had ordered the Hobe’s Shake (strawberry&oreo) with the Big Butte Cookie add-on, and it was wonderful! Highly suggest it. The fries are great, but the burger was honestly just a little disappointing. It was small, and the bun/sauce took over all the other flavors. One of the buns alone was the same volume as the stuff under it, so you really have to press it down. The rest of the food, however, makes up for this!
