Very nice place that has a nice chicken and waffle sandwich. Our server was very attentive and was timely with his check ins. The crab dip was good, but the breading over top of it was kind of too much. It could’ve been good without it in my opinion. But the sandwich I mentioned was very good, especially with the gouda. The chips are nice and thick, and the sauce that goes with it adds to the flavor very well! Overall, a solid experience. I would come back.

We had a party of 10 + 2 highchair! And we were seated immediately. The food was good, came out in reasonable time. The only disappointment- no sweet tea! Adding their version of simple syrup (too much water to very little sugar) to the tea only watered it down & then it tastes like well – sugar water!

3 Stars for generic decor. There’s nothing wrong with it. If 5 stars is the fanciest restaurant you’ve been to, this won’t be it. It’s a bar and grille. Food is delicious, haven’t bought anything that wasn’t something I wasn’t going to eat.

Delivery order was great by delivery lady. Food was decent as it included Single crab cake, 2 sides, Small corn side and Bread Pudding Beignets. Crab cake was a wee salty for me but very filled with lump and barely any filler which GREAT!! Unfortunately, the sweet potato fries didn’t arrive and that’s a shame. Broccoli was prepared just right, not overcooked and I appreciate that loads.
Now we get to the Bread Pudding Beignets w/caramel sauce on the side. They were absolutely DELICIOUS for my first time ever knowing they existed. And, they were still warm when they arrived. I definitely will order them again.
This was my first order at this restaurant and I’m sure it won’t be my last despite the 4 star review.

A couple of weeks ago I stopped and grabbed a bite at Mother’s Peninsula Grille. Mothers has a great history but recently had to close two of their stores. I chose the spicy meatloaf that came with mashed taters and steamed broccoli to go with my chilly brew. The waitress mentioned it was a favorite and I can see why! Too bad there weren’t any leftovers; would’ve made a great sammy the following day

Great wings, other food is pretty good as well. We eat here as a family a few times a year, primarily in the spring and fall so we can sit outside. It can get loud and echo-y inside; we enjoy eating on the patio the most. Great service from everyone. Looks like a good bar but my husband and I have not yet had an opportunity to sit there.

Dinner was delicious. We went early in the afternoon when it wasn’t crowded. The atmosphere was friendly and family oriented. There was even live music to accompany our meal. I’ve been to a couple Mother’s but this one was different-in a good way!

This is a local favorite and has been since they opened. We had our reunion at the Federal Hill location years ago and it was a hit.
I often meet my aunt for lunch here. I always order the loaded brussel sprouts they are well flavored and roasted.
I get the half and half crab soup best of both worlds.
I often get the rockfish po boy, super good.
The fish and chips are a good comfort food.
We order wings for pick up, they are also amazing.
Ive recently ordered their cobb salad several times it hits the spot.
Shark bites are great though not always available

New to the area and our 2nd visit to Mothers…Came in to try the soft shelled crabs and were disappointed. They were greasy and burned. The blackened Salmon was really good on the Legend salad though. I want it to be a local spot we frequent but both times we’ve been there food items were greasy, overcooked or burned. Live music and outdoor seating is great if you can get a table but not if they are ok serving food like that. Probably won’t be going back.
