The Barrington Moretti’s is always hit or miss. I’m not sure why they have such difficulties with their food and the service. When we dined there recently, the food was surprisingly good. But the service was terrible!!! Our server, big and tall guy, hardly visited our table. We ordered the burrata salad as an appetizer and waited forever for it. When I waved him down to ask where it was, he stepped away and immediately returned with it like it had been sitting right there. I commented that I was worried that our dinner would come out at the same time now and he stated that we still had time…but within a couple of minutes after getting our salad, a runner appeared with our entrees. Also, my husband had asked for another cocktail. We saw it sitting on the bar ready. But our server was too busy chatting with some other female servers. We waved him down again to get it. He seemed like a nice guy. Just had other priorities over waiting on tables. Luckily, the food and the company were all enjoyable.

Mother’s Day. Food was cold, overcooked, and half our party didn’t get their food till everyone else was done, the service overall was absolutely horrible. If servers cannot handle a larger party then assign more than one server and have an expo ensure all is ready together or very close, that meal was a Trainwreck The Decor and atmosphere were great. I have been to this location before and had similar problems with service, which I had just chalked up to a bad day, Not this time, and there won’t be another.

This place legitimately has the worst bar service in the area. Time and time again I walk in and sit at the bar trying to give them my business and you can’t even get a bartender to look at you – when it’s not crowded at all too! It’s a nightmare. I have mixed reviews for this restaurant. I was there a week ago and we had great service, our waitress Hayley was awesome! The food tasted actually good. When we order dessert, the brownie with ice cream, they were out of it.

The Brick Chicken!!! If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out on one flavorful dinner. The sauce has a perfect mild kick, the deboned chicken is beyond scrumptious. It comes with wedge cut potatoes already marinating in the sauce, but my kids are always begging me to add a side of fries to dip in spicy sauce too!! Order tonight!! You’ll be glad you did!

Hostess was nice, no one was there at the time except at the bar. Ordered our food and drinks and the pull apart bread was great. The rest of the time, we were forgotten. Food came out late, must have been sitting around as the burgers when from medium to medium well and wasn’t as hot as it should be. Burger came out with condiments that were asked not to be. Sides were wrong, just didn’t pay attention to the details. This is the 3rd time at this location and always a problem. Sad as I have been to others and really enjoyed. Want to support the hometown one, but not sure anymore.

Now I know why service is always so slow. I was there and all the servers, bus boys and hostess were standing around just chatting not paying attention to the people waiting to pick up food at the front. I saw a server go tell the blond hostess that someone was waiting to pick up food and she rolled her eyes. So sorry to disrupt you standing around doing nothing and bothering you to do your job. The manager needs to get a better handle on his employees. Always stuff to do besides stand around and chat like pay attention to your tables and front for people waiting to pick up food.
