I treated myself to dinner and tried their 4 course tasting menu. I was lucky to have Chef Cameron as my server. Everything was amazing! The combinations, detail and thought put into each dish… I can’t wait to go back again. Highly recommend.

Our first time eating here and what an incredible experience. It is very cozy inside with a beautiful mural on the wall and lots of edible plants hanging that they actually use in the dishes. Their menu is small but mighty since it features all seasonal, fresh ingredients. Everything is made from scratch. Our only regret was not trying the chef’s tasting menu. Each dish we ordered off the regular menu was better than the last. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the chef even came out to talk to us for a moment. The entire dining experience was superb. We will absolutely be back for the tasting menu!

This food was unreal. I’ve eaten at a bazillion restaurants in Portland and most of them are very good, but Morchella seriously blew me away. The pickled magnolia blossoms stuffed with sheep’s cheese and drizzled with honey were a particular standout, but every single dish on the tasting menu was new and exciting and SO flavorful. One of the 2 chefs came out with every course and explained it thoroughly and you could feel their love for their craft and their genuine excitement about what they’d created. Beautiful experience I can’t wait to repeat!

Morchella is awesome! It somehow forgoes the pretentiousness one might expect from a place like this and replaces it with a warm sort of playful kindness. We had a lovely happy hour here. We met the chef who served us. Their passion, creativity and kind heart shines through the beautiful plates. Can’t wait to have dinner here soon.

Wow! What an amazing experience we had here at Morchella. Table wasn’t ready but we enjoyed a nice Fernet next door while Cameron and his staff set up the perfect table for our Valentine’s date.

A wonderfully cute restaurant with a big heart. We happened into Morchella on a Saturday during their ‘happy hour.” What a great experience. Such a great kitchen crew. We sat at the chefs table, enjoyed some great food and drink, while watching the kitchen prep for dinner. Wonderful food, great people, Morchella has our vote!

Stumbled upon this gem on our first night in Portland. The dishes were fantastic, especially the mushroom toast and the venison tartar. Love their concept of serving mostly ultra local ingredients. The service was also really friendly. Overall, a great experience. Good luck to the team with their new restaurant!

My wife and I had a great time. The tuna melted in your mouth , like butter. The elk loin was superb. I would recommend , my only critique is that I wished they put more whipped mascarpone along my sheep cheesecake. It is definitely worth a try if you haven’t already !
