My husband has been singing the praises of this place for the past 2 months and today was the day that we tried it altogether as a family with our 10yr old son. I’m only sorry that it took us THIS long to come here… the place is an absolute gem.
Every aspect is 5/5 stars. The owner was immensely grateful and accommodating, easy to chat with.
The food, soooo fresh and full with flavor. They had 4 homemade soups that we were offered a sample, and he said “You know what? I’m gonna give you a sampling of all 4 because they are too good to pass.” AND THEY WERE. I couldn’t even pick a favorite because they were all incredible.
Clean, so spotlessly clean.
Very expansive menu including cold and hot sandwiches, soups, salads, smoothies and desserts.
I was thrilled to see 3 other families enjoying their meals as the owner was attentive and welcoming to each patron that walked in. Just an overall sense of casual joy emits from the place, and we will continue to happily patronize Moodys. Thank you so much for truly being a five-star business!

First time I’ve been there and I understand why they have a 4.9 stars review. Truly friendly. The cheese steak was amazingly fresh and looked just like the picture in the ad. The place itself is very neat. Both clean and cool. I will be taking my wife this Thursday for a fun night out.

Oh my goodness—I cannot believe I didn’t know Moody’s Subs was right here in Kenosha! This place is phenomenally good. If you go (and you absolutely should), you must try the chicken noodle soup—it’s comforting and flavorful. The Italian beefs are amazing, but let me tell you… the gyro is next level. It’s loaded with feta cheese, creamy tzatziki sauce, fresh tomatoes, and red onions—it’s honestly the best gyro I’ve ever had. I won’t eat one any other way now!
They even had Dubai chocolate, which was such a cool surprise! The service? Top of the line. Super welcoming, down-to-earth, and just real people who care about their food and customers. Not to mention, Cleanest eatery EVER!
The only downside is that they’re not closer to where I live, but it’s so worth the drive. I’ll be there as much as I possibly can. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. TRY IT! Try, try, try—you won’t regret it.

There is no better sandwich shop in Kenosha than Moody’s. It’s a gem that more people need to know about. I’m a smoked meat connoisseur, their corned beef and pastrami sandwiches are decadent- and you can tell that they know what they’re doing. I’ve tried them all: meatball bombers, cheesesteaks, paninis. Add to that their homemade soups, amazing Dubai cups, and you can’t have a better dining out experience. But here’s the icing on the cake: they fully understand hospitality. All the staff genuinely wants you pleased with your meal, and you feel that from the moment you walk in until your last bite. Legendary service is a lost art, and the team here “gets it”. You don’t want to miss trying this place out, and like me, you’ll be a customer for life.

I’ve been meaning to try this spot for a while. I don’t regret it. The staff are so friendly and insisted that I tried a sample of their soups. The price is a bit high, though. Will definitely come back.

The service was awesome! The staff were super friendly. We ordered a couple cheese steaks and a build your own sub. The ingredients were very fresh and the portions were large!
It was a bit more expensive than we thought it would be, but you can tell the ingredients were very high quality. We will definitely be back again.

First off, I want to say that the people here are very nice. Service is great. However, for a tiny slice of cheesecake, I paid $9!! That’s crazy. You get more cheesecake at cheesecake factory and I thought THEY were overpriced! It was good, but unfortunately I will not be returning as I cannot justify paying that price for the amount of product you get in return.

Great food! Served hot! Fresh tasting! I ordered the 8piece Jamaican jerk expecting the typical style of Jerk chicken that I’m used to, this was jerk, but with a twist. I’ve never had fried chicken smothered in jerk sauce, but this was a unique spin. The flavors were unique and spicy (as it should be). The skin had a great crunch. The chicken was fried in fresh oil. My son had the moody cheesesteak which he said was not oily, bread was toasted nicely with a hint of butter, and had “great flavors.” I’d have to come back and try out other items on the menu, there are a lot of choices… oh, it’s kosher too. Atmosphere was inviting, all areas that I was able to see were clean, including the ceiling to the food prep area! Nice conversation with the owner! Nice little gem.
