American fare, wine & clever martinis served in a well-appointed historical building with a patio.

J Corks is one of the best restaurants in the area. The chef-inspired dishes never disappoint, and every meal feels thoughtfully crafted. We especially love visiting for holiday events—the themed menus are creative, festive, and always a standout experience

Just a beautiful venue from the turn of the 19th century. Beautiful brick walls and a gorgeous interior. It has a large welcoming patio with ivy walls. A great place for summer evenings. The food was all very good, especially the mushroom bruschetta. I could not rave enough about it. A little expensive but well worth it.

Went on a Saturday after last-minute reservations for a special event.
Yes, it is on the higher end of costs, but it wasn’t ridiculous like some places. You can find items on par with places like Red Robin, so while you can splurge, you don’t have to break the bank.
Serving sizes were very large and everything we had was absolutely worth the cost. Well made, plated beautifully, unique twists, and delicious.
Highly recommend the mocktails.
Staff was very friendly and we got some nice live music out on the patio.
We will be adding the place to rotations for special occasions.

Love this place – Need to make sure you reserve a spot, which is a good sign of the enduring popularity. Whether a Pear & goat cheese salad for lunch, a fantastic pub burger and beer in the bar for a casual social meet, or a full dinner with an upscale feel for guests or business groups, have never been disappointed on all fronts (food, service, overall atmosphere and quality). Definitely recommend!!

5 Stars – Perfect All Around
J. Corks quickly became one of our favorites after our first visit, and our second visit only confirmed it. Everything about this restaurant shines: the warm, inviting atmosphere, exceptional food, and top-notch service.
On our first visit (our anniversary), our server Grace was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and full of helpful suggestions. She even surprised us with a complimentary dessert topped with a candle, making an already special evening even more memorable.
On our second visit (September 2025), the experience was just as exceptional from start to finish. The food was flawless on both occasions, and it’s now our go-to spot for high-end dinners and celebrations. We highly recommend J. Corks, and if you’re lucky enough to have Grace as your server, you’re in for a real treat.

The food was absolutely delicious. Our server recommended the specials and their homemade desserts. Staff, service and food were top notch. The atmosphere was sadly the downfall. Maybe it was just a busy night but it was LOUD. Everyone was extremely loud to the point where I could follow the conversations from two tables away. It ruined the atmosphere and the romantic dinner I was hoping for. Maybe the crowd that night was just rude as they stood up at other tables talking super loudly. Other than that I would definitely return and recommend the restaurant.

Found this gem while traveling for work and it was the best dinner my husband and I have had in years! From the minute you walk in you are greeted with a smiling face and you can tell everyone there loves to work together! Its beautifully designed with brick walls and lovely decoration. Our server, Janet, is just the best, she gave amazing recommendations and made me a special drink! Yes, add alcohol to any mocktail and you won’t be disappointed! Spinach dip is a must, the pretzels given with the dip are perfect!
Wings are big, cooked to perfection and the sauce is awesome! The filet was cooked medium exactly like we requested and the show stopper was the crab cakes over the summer succotash, get it! For dessert the crème brûlée is my go to and it was great but the lemon mascarpone cake is out of this world!

Many people I know have told me that this restaurant was a must try for fine dining. So when my son-in-law’s birthday was coming up I thought this would be a great place to take him as he was a big fan as well. I must say I was not really impressed with the overall product for the price point. Maybe they had a rough day that day. Things happen. My wife and daughter got the Surf n Turf macaroni and cheese. My daughter isn’t a fan of shrimp so she asked the waitress if she could substitute shrimp for a chicken breast. The waitress came back at first and said the chef said he couldn’t because he was too busy. Now this is despite that their menu gives you the option to add a chicken breast to anything for a cost. After pressing a tad they agreed. The dish comes out and theirs shrimp and chicken. Not steak and chicken as requested. Now we are reasonable people but in a fine dining establishment. This is unacceptable. Especially when the dish is 40 dollars. But it doesn’t even end there. The cheese sauce in both my wife’s and daughter dish was soup and watery and lacked flavor. The wait staff was amazing and did their best. Even brought out 2 cups on now correct flavorful sauce. Not watery at all. But at that point we were pretty much done eating. My son in law had a great meal so that was great. I got the tomahawk pork chop. It was only ok. The pork was good but not as tender as i would have expected for this level of dining but was acceptable. The appetizers were great. Which is why the rating is 3 stars and not 2. Might give them another try but I’m a very careful consumer. And alot of money was spent but without that amazing experience that everyone talked about.

The bartender was nothing other than outstanding. Despite being very very busy, she was welcoming, handled everything flawlessly, and still found a second to chat with us and make recommendations. We usually have a table, but we will most definitely be sitting at the bar more often. Thanks Abby!!!
