Despite the name having the word “burger” in it, I had already eaten dinner, so a friend & I came in for dessert. And WOW! Everything in here was plant-based, but REALLY awesome! I’ve always been hesitant because I hate lines, and there are ALWAYS a lot of people lining up for this place! So on this off chance, I figured I’d stop by, and realized how much I’m missing out! Their shakes were great, but I DEFINITELY need to come back for the burgers!

We didn’t realize that this burger place is actually a vegan burger place.
I didn’t mind as much because I do enjoy a nice black bean burger from time to time .
I’m not sure what they use the burger, but it’s really delicious and honestly, this is the best ranch I’ve ever had in my entire life.
It worked out perfect because I’m allergic to milk and they had dairy free shakes.
What an accidentally vegan treat. Definitely doesn’t taste vegan and the toppings for the burger were so flavorful.

Also the staff is super nice!

I didn’t trust my friend when he told me about this place that serves plant based burgers that taste better than regular burgers, but now that I have been, I will be going back. I had the dog pile tots and they were unbelievable. But the most surprising item was their matcha milkshake (vegan), absolutely delicious.

It was fantastic. I was visiting for the week an I ate there 3 times. Staff are super friendly and nice. Their double cheeseburger was everything. I also love the amount of tater tots they give. You can take the rest home.

Tasty enough, but a bit pricey, especially for us and exchange rate (USD to CAD). Certainly not the cheapest place for a vegan burger and hot dog. Also, the music in there was very loud… made it hard to have a conversation. Overall, it was fine, but I probably wouldn’t go back if I was ever in LA again

We just checked the google reviews and great ratings of the place but in fact it was awful.
The place just smells like burned oil and smoke.
It has an small restroom in the messed up back.
The burger was NOT SPECIAL at all. And I don’t know what are all those 5-star reviews for. It was a really regular burger for a high price; you can just drive 5 minutes to Original Tommy’s and have a good burger with fries 3 times cheaper.
We tried crispy chicken and burger with fries and all of those were really regular!
I’ll never try there again.

Simply the best vegan burger ever! Our family drives down to the Korea town location just to get our fix. Always consistent and delicious!

Update: tried the hotdog, chicken sandwich and dog pile with 50/50 fries and tots – so so good when you have that late night craving. And the service was awesome as usual.

Space and parking is limited but what I didn’t really care for was their type of music and how loud it was.

We ordered a regular size Matcha shake, and a mini coffee one. Both were great.
We also ordered the double burger, and a chicken sandwich and basket of 50/50 fries. We thought the burger was just kind of average, and wouldn’t go out of our way to get it again, but the chicken sandwich was really good. Definitely the best plant based chicken we’ve had. The fries were fine and just kind of okay, didn’t finish them. Overall glad we went.

I don’t recommend at all. Got food poisoning after eating here and so did my friend. We both got the single burgers with tots so they must not clean the grill or the fryer. Never had food poisoning from a 20$+ meal with NO meat so this place MUST be filthy. If I could un eat that meal I would and wish I could get my money back….. just horrible
