they are absolutely unprofessional. We made it through the door at 8:12, and she stated that a couple was leaving and then we would be seated. 2 hours later….. my family of 10 came in to eat for my sisters prom night and my sister told them that the food was basically uncooked and it was supposed to be fried…. now she took the food and just said she’ll remake it and take ALL the sauce off and my sister stated that she would rather not do that because it would then have no taste at all. She insisted on remaking it, she then brought it back and it was the EXACT same plate just scraped everything off. Once I told her that she didn’t like the new plate she went ballistic and said “PAY YOUR BILL AND LEAVE” as if no one was going to pay at all. it began to become a full blown argument with her saying that we don’t need to come to establishments and say we don’t like the food. We asked if monty was there because initially she was very nice and kept talking about him, but she said he was cooking. Now she said she was cooking right? well once we paid we asked if we could speak to monty and she said he was on a conference call…. at that point I couldn’t do anything but laugh because it was one waitress, her which maybe was the hostess and no monty. This place is nothing but a EMPTY, weird and unprofessional establishment All in all it was 10 of us that was super hungry and only one KID ate his fries. I, nor anyone of us will be back. THIS IS THE FACE BEHIND IT ALL☠️☠️☠️

Service was great! Food was terrible. Our server went above and beyond. The table cloths were very dirty, oysters are ground into a paste with crab and many other things, salad has an entire bottle of pepper in it, fried shrimp topped redfish on top of a burned crab cake and smothered in a quart of “sauce”, and Chardonnay is warm. $120 later, I decided the dishes were worth about $30 max. But, our server was great! Will definitely love to have her again at the next restaurant she works at when Monte’s closes due to lack of customers!

BEWARE! my family and I were eager to try this restaurant as the pictures look delicious. However, our experience was one for the books (not in a good way). Needless to say, we will never be back. Long story short, we waited 2hrs for food, food was soggy(fried foods)/nasty/bland(steak)/watery(pasta). Told the waitress she just walked off without responding and got the manager. The manager tried to force me to get the redfish with no sauce instead of how it came… ummm no ma’am it’s not made well all together. A waste of money! Then she proceeded to bring it anyway then yelled at my family to pay and leave when we complained. I’ve never seen anything like this before. We then said we would leave a review and she said she does not care just pay and leave. NO ONE ATE ANY OF THE FOOD (besides the children). I pray they work on customer service. There was so much more but this would be a book if I said it all. Save your time,money,peace and try Walkers or something better… they don’t care anyway!

I had the Redfish Diane with lump crabmeat and my lady had the Cresent City Redfish. Fish was perfectly cooked!! There were so many flavors in these dishes and they flowed very well together. Had stuffed shrimp as appetizers, tasted great. Overall food was tremendously good. Service was great, we enjoyed ourselves very much. We will definitely dine here again!!

I was not hungry when I arrived to meet a friend. I ordered a bottle of wine and a bowl of the Cajun seafood bisque. Tried the bread pudding which was fluffy and not heavy. The bisque was perfect for me not being hungry. This is a fine restaurant with exceptional food.

It was raining and we kind of stumbled upon this place and wanted to try something different that we have not had. It was not a bad choice. We were amazed at all the different menu items they had because it’s something a little different that you do not get to eat all the time. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back.
