Friend invited me out to eat here ordered the Trío enchiladas . They where delicious. Never Enjoyed a plate of enchiladas so much in my life. Friend ordered the parillada for 1 and when I tell that plate was full of meat. Overall food was full of flavor and we left our plates clean . Service was great waitress constantly checked and see if we needed anything. And the atmosphere was calm and inviting with hispanic music playing g in the background. They have a nice area for pictures. If your looking for a great meal this is definetly the place.

First time at Monterrey Mexican Restaurant and it was great! I used to live in the area, always saw it but had never been. My husband and I decided to try it this morning (Saturday morning) and it was pretty good. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Every server greeted us as we walked to our booth. Our server Abdiel was amazing! He was very attentive to us. We started with coffee, of course. It was really good. Not sure if its “cafe de olla” but it does have canela. They have a small typical breakfast selection. I ordered the Huevos Divorciados and my husband the Huevos Montados both really good! We also ordered the Choriqueso appetizer, it’s more queso than chorizo but it was still good. They have a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend it.

I really enjoyed the Mexican food here — I’d rate it about an 8 out of 10. The flavors were good, not amazing, but definitely worth another visit. One downside was the sopapillas, which tasted rancid and were a letdown.
Service was friendly and professional, but it took longer than expected to get my food, especially considering there weren’t many customers and the staff seemed well-staffed. Overall, a good spot with potential to be great. I’d give it another try.But won’t try to sopapillas ever again.

I am absolutely picky with my menudo. The menudo here is AMAZING! My husband got mole & it was also amazing! I got the sour cream enchiladas for my kids. The only thing I didn’t like too much was the Monterrey ceviche. Other than that good food!

First time going and had a great time. On Sundays they have mariachi from 1 to 3. They were a lot of fun and played good songs. The music was just right and not loud. Perfect place for family or friends to have a few drinks.

Went with my boyfriend, service was great everyone was very nice, food was not that good, ordered some tacos and the meat was very chewy and the salsas were very watered down but the Valentina was so thick it didn’t want to come out of the bottle, the tapatio didn’t even look like the color it is, and the pricing of the food is off, only by a dollar or around 50 cents from each item. And the ceviche tasted bittersweet not spicy like other restaurants wouldn’t recommend that being something to get if you like it spicy. Overall everything else was good the place looks kinda like a kids bedroom and nice place to take pictures.

Margaritas are absolutely horrible taste like straight mix! I gave it back to him asked him to make it taste better he brings me back the same exact drink. Food temps are so not the same on the whole plate beans and rice different to the taste . This place isn’t as good as it use to be. Also they need another credit card system or something Everytime I go they say my card is declined. I have no problem any other establishment. She acted like I was bothering her when I was trying to pay tab cuz she was busy trying to eat right there at the front table when u walk in .

The one thing I did not like was the coffee they make it with cinnamon.
And something else, I don’t remember what it was. But it was too strong for me. They need to make regular coffee. That’s the only complaint that I have. Other than that, the food was very good.

This was our first time here and we will definitely go back.
