They have an easy booking process online. It was just for 2 so it was in their social pit. We ended up with a private lane, which allowed us to throw at our own pace and pick any of the dozen target games they have. We wandered off to the restaurant and bar in between throws and really enjoyed the experience the relaxed atmosphere. Each lane has an employee managing the games. They also have cornhole, pool tables, and a nostalgic arcade section. It is a place we would go back to when out of town friends visit.

This place was great. Went there in a weeknight for our season ending football party. Food was surprisingly good though pretty limited to pizza and wings. At least they do it well. Axe throwing is fun and tons of bar games, arcade games and pool.

Easy to reserve and plenty of parking.
Either eat before or after bc you get a set time and with a big party you want everyone to be able to throw more than once. Use the time of axe throwing for just that.
If you plan on eating and drinking, I suggest you order food and pay first bc the bar will ask to keep your cc for a tab if you would like to continue to drink. Also, the food and bar are separate businesses hence the ordering food first. Not a big deal, pay cash if you want to. Food and service was great..
Seeing as we went on a not so busy time, we were able to have an area to ourselves. Our attendant was helpful and we took our time and had many turns between people.

Had a great experience here! We had a reservation for 6, and everything went smoothly and we all had a fun time. Our guide was very helpful and easy going. The pizza was so insanely good too! Highly recommend!

Over all was not a bad experience. Was very hard to hear what was being said to us due to the live band. I also wish we didnt feel so rushed threw the games, didnt feel like we got a real choice in eating food if we wanted too cause it was all go,go,go.Along with the 1 bartender being the only one on, making the line over 20+ mins to get a drink was a bummer.
Would i go back, yes. Do I think small changes should be done yes. Recommend going at off time though due to this situation

The Montana axe throwing game is a blast! The instructor is excellent and very friendly. They also have arcade games, pool, and delicious pizza. Plus, the location is fantastic, situated in the Stop & Shop plaza in Putnam, CT. We always make sure to visit ELLE NAIL salon in the same plaza; it’s a hidden gem with amazing services!

Montana nights is a blast. We have already been several times and love it. The axe throwing was fun and challenging. Our axemaster was super helpful too. Afterwards we had awesome pizza and cold beer. Cornhole, video games pool and more. Can’t wait to go back.

Bartender over charged on two separate drink orders. Said the price list was wrong then the manager came over and acted surprised saying OHHHH you noticed the price difference. Imagine over charging every drink $4.
