The food here was a highlight—the butter chicken, naan bread, and rice were all delicious and full of flavor. However, the experience was mixed due to a few other factors.
• Menu & Pricing: The Indian cuisine menu is somewhat limited, and be aware that entrees are à la carte, so rice is an additional charge.
• Service: We visited during sunset and found the service to be quite slow.
• Facilities: The bathrooms were in need of attention and could be much cleaner.
• Hidden Costs: Keep a close eye on your check, as they may automatically add a 20% gratuity to the bill.
Overall, it’s a great spot for tasty food and views, but come prepared for slow service and extra costs.”

I love their food and service. Masala papad is a must try. Tomato soup was pretty decent. Garlic naan and aloo mutter were good too. Staff is very quick and friendly. The best part is to have food with beach/sunset views. The views are incredible. Do try this restaurant if you are around Maui.

The sunset views alone make this place worth visiting. It gets very busy around sunset, and since the windows are kept open, it can get a bit chilly—bring a light sweater or jacket depending on the weather.

The food was good (and honestly great considering it’s one of the few Indian options around), but the service was very slow. Definitely order everything at once. The server was upfront about it and even mentioned that getting an extra roti or naan later would take another 30 minutes because we had under-ordered.

That said, between the views and the food, it’s still absolutely worth a visit.

❌It doesn’t matter how good the food is if the customer service is terrible. ❌

The experience started poorly at the front desk. The receptionist had an attitude and immediately asked if we had reservations. When we said no—and mentioned that we tried calling five times the day before and twice the day of—we were told they had turned off the phones because they were “too busy.”

We were told to wait 20 minutes for a table, even though a row of tables by the windows sat empty from the time we walked in until shortly before we left. The excuse was that those tables were “reserved,” yet they remained blocked for over 45 minutes while customers waited. That’s a questionable business practice.

When the waiter finally arrived, we asked about options for dietary restrictions. His response: nothing. We were told that because it was busy, we could only order exactly what was on the menu—no modifications allowed. Huge red flag if you have allergies or dietary needs. This place clearly doesn’t prioritize customer safety or care.

We ordered a couple of items anyway, but the portion sizes didn’t justify the prices. When the bill came, it already included an 18% gratuity for a party of four plus an additional 4% “kitchen appreciation” fee—22% total for genuinely poor service. First time in my life paying that much for such a bad experience. It honestly feels like they know their service is lacking and force gratuity because they wouldn’t earn it otherwise.

If this restaurant invested more in customer service instead of finding clever ways to squeeze more money out of guests, they’d go much further.

GREED is the only word that comes to mind.

And I’m still questioning whether what they served was actually basmati rice—because if you ask me, it definitely wasn’t… even though the menu says it was

The food and service was amazing. What a gorgeous view of the ocean. Even though it wasn’t super busy (we went earlier to catch sunset) good idea to make a reservation if you want a seat at the window. It did pick up later. We tried a few dishes and everything was delicious! A hidden gem.

Had a really great dinner here and we liked it so much we also got takeout here even though we were only in Maui for a week! We were very skeptical coming since the restaurant is in a condo building and wasn’t sure what to expect. We were pleasantly impressed with the food, views and service. No bad tables here as they all face the bay and you can get gorgeous sunsets at the right time. Food was delicious and appropriately spiced as requested. They accommodated all special requests and the portions were generous. Papa Paneer was a standout as the fresh palak stood out and the breads were all well made as well. Too full for dessert but all of the dishes were superb. Wouldn’t mind having this available as my local restaurant! Prices are as expected in HI and service was laid back but good. Enjoyed the dinner and food was equally impressive when we got takeout.

Got the malai kofta curry, and it tastes great! However portion sizes are very small for their price ($23), at least for takeout.

We went in by the reviews but the whole experience of the place was horrible from the start to the end.
Let’s begin with the waiting and seating, they are totally under staffed with no planning on how to handle a busy day. It took us 2.30 hrs to be seated when we were told 45 mins.
The lady kept forgetting who she had seated and it was chaos.
After being seated we were told to order all the food at one go, from the drinks to if we needed any takeaway.
Who orders that way? We were told if we needed anything extra that would take 10-15 mins extra
We waited another 40 mins to get food and what underwhelming food it was.
The portion size, the taste all was so underwhelming. All this while waiting we were expecting good food based on the reviews but were really disappointed.
There is a mandate 18% gratuity and 4% kitchen appreciation fees that’s forced on the clients and if you ask about it the answer is that it’s mentioned in the menu that’s in fine prints which no one would read and they take it under the name of taxes.
Overall there are better places if you want tastier food and better service.
Also portion size is really small and prices are high.

We ordered Naan, Roti, Chicken Curry, Malai Kofta, Daal Makhani, and Basmati Rice. The food was fresh but mediocre. The Malai Kofta gravy lacked depth of flavor—turmeric was the only prominent taste. However, Roti and Naan were decent. Additionally, the kitchen could definitely benefit from better food presentation skills, as the dishes lacked visual appeal.

Service was extremely slow, with just one person taking orders. While the food was served hot, the overall experience was disappointing, especially given the additional charges. For a party of four, they imposed an 18% gratuity plus a 4% kitchen service fee, totaling a 22% service charge—Kitchen service fee is something I’ve never encountered before.

Restaurants should pay their staff fairly instead of overburdening customers with such fees, particularly when the service doesn’t meet premium standards. While the ambiance was pleasant, they seriously need to reconsider their service fee policy.

We came with high hopes, since the reviews were promising and the ambience seemed great. It seemed that we were wrong. The food was not great. Everything was made very hastily. Vegetable pakoras were overfried on the outside but very undercooked on the inside. The salted lassi tasted like it was made with a pound of salt. Besides that, the service was far more than disappointing. We were left waiting for over 20 minutes for our drinks because the server forgot to bring them to us. There was no communication on their part whatsoever, and there didn’t seem to be any warmth or cheer. Additionally, the automatic 18% gratuity felt over the top as neither the service or the food was worth the crazy price we were charged. This was a disservice to authentic Indian food and we were overall very disheartened.
