Had the Banthi Bhojanam (unlimited meal) and absolutely loved it! Served authentically on a banana leaf with great variety and delicious, homestyle flavors. Everything was fresh and well-balanced. Even my 6-year-old enjoyed it, which says a lot! Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic South Indian food.

The food was pretty good. I had the 5 star chicken and it was nice and had good flavor and texture and our table also ordered chili paneer and gobi. I liked the chili paneer although it was a little too rubbery for my liking and the gobi was good but my table said that it was too crunchy and had too much food coloring. Next I had their special chicken biriyani and I liked it I think the kurma that came with i was really good but the biriyani itself had too little chicken pieces for my liking but other than that it was great the flavor was really good and the others got butter naan with paneer curry and that was really good I liked i. The service was pretty good on everything except the gobi that took really long for some reason and I liked the atmosphere they had some indian music videos playing it was chill.

I’ve tried ordering from Mirchi Indian Restaurant multiple times, and recently picked up my order directly from the restaurant. The service was warm and friendly, and the staff were very welcoming. I ordered the Vijayawada Chicken Biryani and my all-time favorite, the Mirchi Delight Chicken Biryani. As always, the quantity was generous and the taste was absolutely delicious. Consistent quality and great flavors keep me coming back!

Been here a couple times. It’s my go to spot in Frisco area. If you’re looking for authentic Indian food, this is the spot. Although I have to say, if you can’t take spice, I would not recommend because you’ll regret it but if you like spice, this is the place for you! Service is kind of lacking, don’t expect over and beyond. You order your food with the server and then they bring out the food and that’s it. You won’t see your server again. Place is huge! So great for small and large groups. Definitely give this spot a try! Till then, let’s eat!

The front desk staff at the restaurant greeted us with a smile and promptly seated us at a table. The menu offered a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and the ambiance was calm and pleasant. However, the service was below expectations.
We ordered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes to accommodate a group member who preferred vegetarian food. While we were nearly finished with the main course, the vegetarian dishes had still not been served. It took almost an hour to receive the crispy corn and vegetable biryani. Upon inquiring with the server about the delay, we were informed that the chef had overcooked the dish and had to start over. Unfortunately, we were not informed of the issue beforehand, which would have allowed us to cancel or order an alternative dish that could have been served sooner.
In terms of food quality, the dishes were a mixed experience. The Masthan Bhai Mutton Biryani looked appealing but lacked flavor, and the meat pieces were tough and rubbery. The crispy corn, on the other hand, was enjoyable.
Overall, the lack of communication regarding delays and the inconsistency in food quality made for a disappointing experience. I hope the restaurant improves its service and ensures better communication with customers in the future. As of now, I would not recommend this restaurant.

We went for dinner , Chicken majestic was good and Kabobs are good but Mandi is not up to the mark – I didn’t feel like Mandi at all rice was Biryani rice not Mandi rice. service was very bad it took 30mins to take the order – overall service was very bad they need to improve a lot on service. staff was Friendly though .

Food is top notch, every bite is full of flavors and freshly made. If you’re not familiar with the spice levels and need spicy go for medium first then up from there. Spicy is for real spicy they’re not messing around.
Service ranged from good to great, depending on the server.
Atmosphere – depended on the day. Saturday was the liveliest we saw the place. Friday and Sunday afternoons were quiet, no music, barely any people around, but lots of takeout orders so kitchen keeps busy.

A friend from Chicago recommended this place. For starters, tried Chicken Lollipops, ‘Rambha Chicken’, Cashew Chicken pakodi and Mushroom Pepper fry. Rambha chicken was awesome and mushroom pepper fry was the best in town, quality of Mushroom was really good, must try if you visit. Ordered Paneer dum biryani, Chicken majestic biryani and ‘Masthan Bhai Mutton Pulao’. Mutton pulao is well done and flavorful. Chicken majestic biryani was good too and the biryani rice is high quality. If you are in the Frisco /DNT area this place is a must try; Rambha chicken and mushroom starters were the best ever tasted and mutton pulao was flavorful
