Came in for lunch and it was fantastic. Food was delicious, probably the best pad sew ew I’ve had, I would change nothing about it! Our server was very nice and attentive, he kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything. He also gave us a small bowl of salad before we ordered, the dressing was really tasty. I also ordered a Jumbo Thai Tea, and it did not disappoint: it was HUGE, tasty and not too sweet! It’s a small resturant, but it had a great chill vibe and with the music, it was pretty relaxing. Overall, everything was a 10/10, will definitely come back and try more items on the menu!

Ordered the vegetarian pad thai, more veggies than noodles. They barely put any sauce on it and unfortunately the whole dish made me feel ill. No way they’re charging $18 a plate for pad thai. Used to come this place for years, I don’t know what they’re doing now.

This place is still one of my favorite restaurant in Alameda even if one of our dishes was very spicy. I asked if they can make the eggplant dish to have no spices at all. The waitress said “Yes we can”. The dish was very spicy and I told the manager. She responded to order mild next time. Go figure! I’ll just stick to BBQ chicken next time. Maybe they really cannot make it non-spicy and just want to take orders.

Definitely my go-to for tasty Thai food in the area. I usually order take-out as I live nearby, always huge and piping hot portions, never missed any item. Great, genuine cooking and always with a smile. Highly recommend.

Always a great meal at Monkey Thai! Small garden salad lightly dressed with peanut dressing. The Mango fried rice is perfectly fried with chunks of mango. Not greasy and flavorful jumbo shrimp with tail. My sis and her BF ordered the won ton soup no noodles and requested extra veggies…super chunky! The broth was delicious and seasoned to perfection! I ordered the combo which includes choice of appetizer plus entree and choice of white or brown rice plus a drink. Thai Tea was good. And Green curry is the best!! Service is great. Overall great experience. Mmmmm…the best green curry. 🙂

I wanted to like this because they wore masks and were friendly but the food was downright terrible and not cheap.

Not great, especially not for the price. Tastes like it should be low price thai food. We tried a LOT of things. The only things we all enjoyed was the squid salad, thai sausage and papaya salad. All the entrees were…meh. Most of them were plated well and looked nice, but waste wasn’t so hot. Would rate 2.5 stars out of 5. Would not recommend or return.

I lived and worked in Chiang Rai for 15 years and have been trying to find Larb Moo that was as good as northern Thailand. I finally found it!!! Their food is authentic and delicious and I can’t wait to try it again.

google maps says it’s open when you get to the establishment it’s closed. I drove from the city of San Jose just because the place seemed interesting and when I got there I was completely disappointed.

Always five-star food and service! Many great menu items to try, but somehow I always wind up going back for the Pad Thai with shrimp, and sweet iced coffee. Great place for dining in or takeout!
