We are Old Saybrooks local hangout with great food. We have a relaxed barroom atmosphere where your sure to find a conversation or imformation about our historic town. Our wrap around porch is also great for families. Summertime we have an outdoor patio and tented dining.

We had a late lunch and a drink on Saturday afternoon. Great atmosphere!!! It’s a good casual place for a bite to eat and/or a drink with friends or family. The waitress was friendly and attentive. There’s a good selection of food and there’s a full bar. It’s really easy to get to as it’s close to I-95 and the Post Road.

Always have a great experience here. I lean toward their sandwiches although I’ve also had scallops before and they were incredible. Sandwiches are great. Outstanding burgers and Reubens. Always generously portioned. Several seating options. By the bar, in the enclosed wrap around porch or outside, which looks like a great option in evenings &/or for bigger groups. Staff is always efficient. Bar is usually lively. Cash only w ATM on-site.

Sat down, waited for 15 min before waitress came. Food was fair, except for the sand in my mashed potato. Waiters was short and you could tell hated her job. Asked for check which sh promptly delivered with a kind jester, but then took another 15 to return, although I could see her hanging around talking to other workers.

A great place to relax! It’s cash only so be prepared!I came here fo lunch, had a corned beef Rubin, my wife had a lobster roll. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive. A great place to watch the game on a Sunday, they have darts and a pool table 3 tv’s the building has a lot of character, an all around great place .

So disappointed in a recent take out order. The food tasted terrible and it was clear the ingredients weren’t fresh. We’ve eaten here several times over the years and it had been fine. Maybe this was a fluke but it will deter us from ordering again in the future. For reference we ordered chicken wraps and chicken tenders. Fries were fine, chicken was inedible, lettuce was brown, and whatever dressing they put in the wraps tasted expired. It’s hard to find decent take out in this area and sadly MF doesn’t help that.

Do not let the cash only policy scare you away! The parking lot is easy to manage. We were greeted by a giant monkey in the arcade. You get to chose where to sit. There are some high top tables as well as regular settings. There was also sitting outside. Our waitress was Jade. She was nice. The food was fantastic! The wings are wonderful and crispy and a good size. We ordered a hamburger, Italian grinder and a Philly cheesesteak. They all tasted great. For dessert we shared a chocolate pie. I would really describe it as a cake with creme cheese (maybe) filling. We will definitely return.
