Has dinner 2 days in a row..different staff at the store both times but they were absolutely awesome. Hot and fresh! The meat sauce and crostini bread appetizer were a surprise and awesome.

Yes they catered to the fact it was 15 minutes til close but for $37 for half a sandwich and chicken parm half the container was filled with water the sauce looked and tasted old. Why is everything so sweet? I live on the street next to them and this is the first time going and I will NOT be back. Had they not been closed I would have asked for a refund

Unfortunately I not particularly fond in this Monjunis… I’m a big fan of Italian food. I’ve been all my Italian life!. Not impressed with the Salad here in Benton LA, Just too Bland, we’ll that is the house dressing. Their signature spaghetti sauce … was not the same as I remember.
It could’ve been a off night or that I arrived within 40min of closing…but I did end up leaving at closing…I couldn’t finish it was so Bland. No take home this night… My date was not interested in the food anyway.
Service was great though.

Brand new location… Same consistent taste. We were visiting friends in Benton and were thrilled to find this popped up. It was an unusual dining experience because you order your food at the counter, get your own drink/silverware and are handed a pager for your food. Once it vibrates you exchange it for your food. It cheapened the experience a bit because the other locations have “table service” but at least you can be reassured here that you should never have bad service . If you are from the Shreveport area… Most know about all of the random locations that have been used for monjunis (some have been really odd) but one thing is usually consistent is that they were never known for looking or feeling very clean. I realize that should be a requirement for any restaurant but seriously… Somehow Monjunis has never really tried in the past. This place was VERY CLEAN and seemed to be set up to stay that way moving forward.
There were 8 of us that dined here that night. We ordered 2 twice baked lasagnas (5 stars), 4 kids spaghetti with a huge meatball (5 stars) and 2 backed raviolis (4 stars).

I went in just to get me a small pasta salad, the last one I got was really spicy and I told the lady working there about. So they had just made a fresh one, and she asked me would I like try it and it was much better. So if you want a great pasta salad Monjunis is the best.

Just ate there for the first time, everything was delicious and the service was amazing. Went there for lunch and we were served promptly. Its a little different than other Monjunis locations in that it is kind of halfway self service. Its built to be fully self service I think but the people there are too nice to let you do everything yourself. Really good food. Muffuletta was good, spaghetti was really good, and lasagna was really good. My only problem is that now I need a nap. We got the Italian sampler and split it. Still took home over half of it.

I had high hopes when this new restaurant opened in Benton, but my excitement quickly faded after my visit. The first issue is the pricing: the meals are significantly overpriced, especially considering the food is primarily pasta. Prices here are higher than many sit-down restaurants in Bossier, which makes the cost hard to justify.
The food itself was disappointing. The dishes were bland and lacked the flavor one would expect for such high prices. For a family of four, you could easily spend over $80 for a meal that tastes no better than fast food.
For the prices they’re charging, the restaurant should offer a full-service dining experience and ensure the food quality matches the cost. Until then, it’s hard to recommend it as a good value for money.

I was very disappointed with this place. I knew that I did not like the Monjunies in bossier and after hearing that this one was own by Silver Star I had higher expectations.
As someone who has had different variations of italian food this one was the worst by far it definitly was not worth what I paided four , a family of three costed 59 dollars and for food we didnt even eat half of.
The only pleasant thing about this restaurant was that the atmosphere was very nice and the girls working where very welcoming and helpful.
I will not be coming back.

Let’s start with the Good:
-Great Service, great atmosphere, very friendly staff it was clean! So all of this makes for a great first impression.
But it all comes crashing down when You look at the menu. This is not Italian food. None of it.
And although I 100% agree that taste is subjective, that is not what is in question here. I came here to get Italian food, I came out not having eaten any.
This is a locally owned “Olive Garden” with the big exception that Monjunis actually makes their own food with seemingly better ingredients……and the result is something the locals love.
Call it something else other than Italian food. Because this is not that, please

The sauce has changed. We are at the one in Benton .The sauce was so sweet we could hardly eat it. I’ve been at the one in Bossier and never had it tasted like that.
