Monica’s felt very welcoming. I was greeted by a nice lady and helped right away. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured into ordering. The pricing was reasonable for the amount that I purchased. Seating was open, I’m sure it was due to the time, 5pm. I waited no more than 10-15mins before my food was ready. You don’t need to ask for the spicy salsas, they’ll place them on your tray. The QuesaBirria Tacos slapped and the Torta De Asada with the consommé is a must try (each sold separately or with the QuesaBirria Tacos). El Taco De Lengua (cow tongue taco) was fire!! It’s a must try; I’ll definitely be back.

Stopped by this place today after meaning to try it for a while. The staff was friendly, the place was very clean and the food was great. We got the carne asada fries, carne asada tacos & fish tacos. The fries were great, and the meat was flavorful. Which was a welcome change from some other places that don’t season the meat on their carne asada fries. I enjoyed the fish tacos, although the cuts of fish could have been bigger. We also got Horchata, and it was delicious. The server was even kind enough to offer my mother-in-law a free cup of Horchata because she had never had it before.
I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants a quick, affordable meal that won’t leave them feeling like they wasted their money.

Just came here for lunch for the first time! I am so impressed! It was delicious!
The place was very clean and nice. The person who took my order was very nice and answered my questions. Ordered a carnitas burrito and added rice and beans, a california burrito, and a carne asada taco with 2 drinks! Carnitas burrito was delicious and soft. Husband california burrito was good and potatoes were delicious. Carne asada taco was yummy. Definitely will be my go to spot now!

Stopped by for a couple breakfast burritos. SO GOOD! Homemade tortillas, flavorful red and green sauces. (Beware- red sauce is spicy hot!) we got steak, sausage and bacon burritos. All were excellent but steak was our fave. Will be back often!

Got some Carne Asada fries as well as a Pineapple drink for lunch. The lady at the counter was very friendly and the food came out nice and hot with two different hot sauces to go along with the food. Plenty of seating and not very busy. Located right downtown Colorado Springs on a busy corner and plenty to look at while eating. Definitely will return to try some different stuff.

Great new place! Good service! Consistent quality across their locations. Their burritos are better than Chipotle. The sweet rice beverage, horchata, is always worth getting. If you have that weird mutation where cilantro tastes like soap to you, I recommend requesting they leave it out if possible.

I was really glad to see the ole Arby’s get converted Monica’s Tacos! We typically get the enchilada plate and a taco, sharing the rice and beans at another location, and we were glad to see the experience lives up to the Monica name. The food is fresh and we like the flavor of the rice and beans (which is thankfully not over salted). The food is flavorful, and as I took a bite of my taco, I was pleasantly surprised at how much ground meat was there. The interior is clean and vibrant with plenty of sunlight. Give it a try.

I was so excited to finally have a Monica’s close to home. The people working here are extremely nice. The food is good, made fresh after you order, but it’s nothing special. The prices are kind of high, but the same as the same typology of restaurants. The carne asada fries were good, but I had better. The fries were hot and fresh out of the fryer, but the whole dish was a bit dry, definitely needed all the sauces they gave us. The green sauce is actually more spicy than the red one, and the red one tastes like tomato sauce.. The chimichanga was again good, but nothing special. Overall the food was good and fresh, but nothing I would come back for..
