If you are looking for delicious authentic banh mi/Vietnamese food then don’t look anywhere else! The owner, Mary, was incredibly sweet and welcoming as she walked us through her menu. The pork banh mi was warm, the bread was soft but still crunchy, and filled with tender pork. We followed it up with some mango sticky rice that was to die for. It was perfectly sweet and topped with some juicy mango with the right amount of coconut. Thank you Mary for giving us a taste of SoCal again!

Such an amazing food truck! You can truly taste the love and tradition in every bite. Knowing these recipes come from her mom makes it even more special. The banh mi is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I LOVED IT. I also got a silk thai iced tea and 10/10 recommend. Definitely will be one of my favorite local spots, can’t wait to come back!

So glad to have this food truck in the Hutto area! They may be new to this food truck spot in Hutto, but they definitely know what they’re doing. I tried the pork bánh mì (the OG) and it was packed with flavor and loaded with meat. Warm toasted bread that was super satisfying and full of that yummy, savory taste you want.
I also tried the Thai tea, pork rice plate and the chicken rice plate. I wanted to try it and share it at home so they could enjoy it.
Both of the rice plates were seasoned really well. You could smell how good the food was from the street. Someone standing outside even commented on how amazing it smelled and they were absolutely right.
The owner threw in egg rolls on the house and they were fantastic. The egg rolls were crispy and full of flavor and don’t underestimate their size. The dipping sauce was surprisingly really good. I expected it to be sweet (which I’m usually not a fan of), but it had great flavor and wasn’t overpowering at all. I ended up dipping everything in it.
The Silk Thai iced tea was fresh, refreshing and full of flavor. I drank half of it before I even got home. Oopsy.
Everything tasted great, fresh and I can’t wait to come back and try more items. It’s awesome to have a local small business here, especially one where the service is amazing. The owner runs it as a one-woman shop and she does an incredible job. Highly recommend!

Mom’s Banh Mi is an absolute gem right down the street from my house. I tried the pork noodle bowl first and it was incredible, the pork was perfectly cooked and the sauce tied everything together beautifully. It was so good I came back the very next day for the pork banh mi sandwich, and it did not disappoint. She even gave me a sample of the egg rolls, which were beautifully crunchy and packed with flavor. I also got the Thai tea and it was amazing. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care. Highly recommend stopping by if you get the chance.

This will be a go-to place for me moving forward. I’m a thai iced tea snob so Mia places don’t cut it… this place does it right and I couldn’t be happier!! My friend got the sandwich and liked it – I’ll try it next time because most places have such a big baguette that you only taste bread. This one was a good ratio of bread to insides. I got the pork rice bowl. It was really good. So glad to have this place nearby. And the owner was super nice!! Great service and great food.

The OG Pork Bahn Mi was fantastic. The bread is fresh with a good crunch. The vegetables add a nice freshness to the meaty fatty pork. The Vietnamese coffee was delicious sweet and smooth. Will be coming back!
