This food is SO GOOD. I had the jerk chicken wrap with a side of fries and I’m telling ya…. SO GOOD. If you have time while the weather is nice grab a few tacos or wraps and then go to Shawnee Park and chill.
The entrance is a little tricky to find at first but you’ll see a sports complex and inside that complex you will find the counter. There are fliers that will lead you to the entrance. Will be visiting again very soon !

Being from Chicago I just had to have some Jerk Tacos. For making the hour-long journey it was worth it. Now my biggest grip is that there is no inside dining but it’s understandable while restaurants are transitioning.
We pulled in front and used their code to get to the menu that has a lot of options. While doing that one of the employees came to the car took our order and gave us instructions for our next visit.
The food came out promptly in less than ten minutes. They even added some bottled water which was awesome because it was hot outside. So the service was great.
The food also was delicious; not too spicy and not overly sweet. With fresh vegetables, chips and salsa. My wife had this for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I’d recommend again and if you are wanting to eat somewhere nice the river front is only another ten minutes away. Where you can picnic.

Great taste. A lot of great food for price. I’ll definitely be back. When you call their on point making sure you get what you want and it’s ready when you get there. No dine in or walk in but I’ll be back for sure. I’m from Chicago and they definitely coming through on the jerk side. Appreciate y’all

I had the steak jerk wrap and it was FIRE! Gotta get it toasted, it adds that extra ZING! Great flavor, perfect heat level, super nice service! I’m excited to try everything else on the menu! Just a heads up you gotta call your order in, but they’ll bring it right out to your car, it’s great!

The owner was very friendly, almost like family. The food was amazing!! We ordered The jerk salad, which was amazing, wings, and the pineapple bowl. We enjoyed it all, a10 out of 10 will try again. The seasoning on the fires was unmatched!

I am so disappointed. I called my food in at 4:33 pm. Was given a 25 minute time period. Got there a little earlier but told them to take their time. 30 minutes later food was not ready. No problem at all. Another 20 minutes food was still not ready. A car pulls up behind me and they bring the food right out. Comes to my car and tells me 5 minutes. One of the guys dropped a pan a food and it was being made over but this was 50 minutes after I had placed my order. 20 minutes later. Food was still not ready. I had to be at work and was to late to work with no dinner… This was one of my favorite spots too man but this was just unacceptable. I understand things happens and they were being accommodating but for a order of tacos and a burger…. I hate this. I always rave about food and the people but today just wasn’t it.

The low star was a reflection of my service today! In my origingal statement I advised that things happen and the service was trying to be accommodating. However when I did call YOU, I advised on how much time was needed because I had to be at work. I got 2 different times. One from you and another gentlemen but still no food. This review is not to slight you or your service to the community in anyway but it is my honest opinion about my experience on the service I received today.

My overall experience was amazing. I ordered the steak pizza and the jerk chicken wings. Everything was fresh, i enjoyed the sautéed vegetables it was a nice touch to the pizza. The wings were amazing. It was all cooked to perfection. I loved how easy the ordering process was and how professional both employees were. The location is ideal as it is a ghost kitchen so the curbside pickup was convenient. All & all I would recommend Chicago’s Jerk Tacos to anyone wanting flavorful food at a great price. Also heard they had a food truck !!!!

I just discovered the restaurant on line and was very excited to try their food. I had recently complained that there was no place to get Jerk food in Louisville so I went yesterday and tried the walking steak tacos with the spicy sauce and a side order of fries. I was surprised that the tacos came in a chip bag bit it was a pleasant surprise and a novel idea (never had anything like that before). Everything was very good..Sometimes I’m reluctant to get steak tacos because the meat isn’t tender, but the steak was tender and seasoned well and came out piping hot. The sauce was good and spicy and the seasoning on the fries made them really good. I can hardly wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. This will definitely be my “go to” place to food!
