The food was delicious—sushi/sashimi were fresh and the servings were generous. Their beef was a standout too: marinated well and cooked with love!
I also loved the shrimp. Even the side dishes were really tasty, so nothing felt lacking. Forgot to take a picture of the other dishes as we’re busy eating already.
The ambiance is cozy and chill, making it a great spot for date nights or hanging out with friends. Plus, the staff were friendly and quick, which made the whole experience even better. Specially Denise! Kudos to her, she made us feel like we’re at home.
Prices are reasonable for the quality. Overall, super worth it and I’ll definitely be coming back again to Mogiya! ✨
Love the atmosphere and environment!
Bur the service has to been improved
Customer service is the key for hospitality .
The staff need well trained
Whenever we want to place an order. We have to look for the staff
Even after the order we have to wait for long long time. Even for a miso soup .
Each order we have to ask more than twice .
As the restaurant owner or manager better to pay attention for the customer service.
And I have checked all the reviews here . Big percentage of customers complain about the staff service
Looking forward for your better service
A special thank you to Kate and Angelica for their excellent service. They are always welcoming, attentive, and make us feel so comfortable every time we come.Highly recommended! We will definitely keep coming back.
Good food, great price for the quality of food. Imagine the promo of 199 aed per person, unlimited wagyu beef (barbecue and hotpot option). Many options for starters and side dishes, you can choose whatever you want and eat as much as you want.
Cute place with a lot of anime stuff.
Service of Angelica was good
Must try Japanese restaurant in Barsha.
What made the visit even more special was the excellent service. The staff were attentive, polite, and always ready to help. In particular, Denise stood out for her warm hospitality and professionalism. She made sure everything was served on time, checked in with us throughout the meal, and created a welcoming atmosphere.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious Japanese food paired with outstanding service. Special thanks to Denise for making our dining experience extra enjoyable!
The service was impressively fast making it a great spot for both casual diners and families. It’s also very kid-friendly, a huge plus for those dining with little ones.
Now, onto the food and what a treat it was. The A4 wagyu beef: incredibly tender and juicy. The salmon dishes were equally outstanding, with the salmon sashimi being notably fresh and beautifully presented.
Overall, this restaurant delivers both in atmosphere and flavor. Whether you’re a fan of Japanese cuisine or trying it for the first time, this spot offers a memorable and satisfying experience.
Price: 99aed each person for unlimited A4 Beef

Time: 3PM – not crowded. Chill vibe

Found this place randomly on Google Maps while craving Japanese food and wow, what a find. Ordered the chicken gyoza, spicy edamame, beef yakiniku skewers, and crab tempura roll everything was so fresh, hot, and insanely delicious. The yakiniku literally melted in my mouth, and the spicy edamame hit the spot.
The vibes are cozy and screams JAPAN — cute décor, friendly staff, and such a homely feel. Ended up trying the grilled mushrooms in garlic butter sauce and veg fried rice too (thanks to Careem DineOut’s 30% off ) and both were amazingggg.
Honestly, you can order ANYTHING off the menu and it’ll be a hit. Total hidden gem!
I’m going to come back for sure!!!
