While I was ordering my burrito, I tried to explain how I wanted it built and asked for a few extra items. Instead of engaging or communicating, the employees seemed irritated and barely acknowledged me, often just looking at me without responding. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially when customers are simply trying to place an order.
After realizing I forgot to ask for my burrito to be put on the grill, I politely asked the employee making the food if he could grill it. This request was met with clear attitude and frustration, which was unnecessary and made the interaction worse.
I understand that the store may have been understaffed at the time, but that should not translate into poor customer service. Being short-staffed is not the customer’s fault, and it does not excuse rude or dismissive behavior.
This was our first time to MOEs, we walked in and were greeted with a “WELCOME TO MOES”. First, let me say that moes has far more options than other quick service mexican restaurants, not only protein options but also food style.
We had immediate service and all the staff was giving very healthy portions of all the choices! Everything was delicious and cery reasonably priced, it amazed me that chips came free with our meals.
After cashing out there was a help yourself salsa bar with many choices from mild to spicy, all the options we tried were very good!
Overall, i highly recommend this location, it has great service, amazing food, and friendly staff.
On another point, the chips were delightfully bland, considering most that you get are overly-salted. And the chips came free whereas at Chipotle, they charge per bag. The music that was playing was a nice mix of oldies and new, more modern songs.
All in all, I would recommend this place to any who would like to experience a build-your-own style restaurant with a heavy influence on an American-Mexican menu priced at roughly $7 – $9 a person. But, as per my personal opinion, I prefer Chipotle.
